Use butter and add choco chips. Perfect bars

These turned out the be the best cookies ever. We did as the instructions recommended and let the dough chill before baking, we also added some peanut butter baking chips to the mix. You get multiple batches with this box, I havent tried making the bars yet but the cookie way was delicious.

Awesome product! A friend of mine served these at a party and I was impressed with how good they tasted. I really thought she had made them from scratch. Then she told me that it was Rising Star Chocolate Chunk Cookie %26 Bar Mix and how easy they were to make. When I found out the mix was available at Sam’s Club, I made sure to get two boxes to have for the holidays. I highly recommend!

My family loves these especially when you use butter instead of oil. Tastes very much homemade. I hope Sam's brings this cookie mix back.

"I really wanted to like these given the hype, but I did not like them at all. The sweetness tastes very artificial—almost like a chemical sugar substitute—and it leaves a lingering aftertaste that isn't pleasant. Furthermore, the texture was a big miss. Instead of being soft or crisp, they turned out gummy and chewy in a way that felt underbaked or 'doughy' even when fully cooked. Between the odd flavor and the gummy consistency, I won't be finishing the box. I’d recommend sticking to a different brand or baking from scratch."

My husband did not like those cookies

So far the first bag is not looking good. I was a little worried before putting them in the fridge to cool before baking as the instructions suggested. The problem i ran into is that it seems it is too much dry and not enough wet. It never really combined like a normal dough. it was more like making a crumble topping. It also took longer in the oven because of this. They do give off a good cookie smell while in the oven but it took forever to bake and they never really flattened out. The 2nd bag I will put yhem in the stand mixer and add a little more water to see if that helps.
