A new experience

The Shokzs are excellent for staying on the ear. The sound is okay, but some complaint about hearing an echo. But, I don’t.

Love Love!!

I love my new Dots. The fit blew my mind as they are so comfortable! You almost forget you’re wearing them. The sound quality is clear as well. I have worn the openskokz for at least 5 years and enjoyed. I thought I would give Opendots a try and I’m so glad I did.

I am shok'd

These are so much better than I thought they would be. I'm clear and whoever I'm talking to is very clear. I'm still able to hear what's going on in the environment, and it's actually true. I do forget they are on my ear. I've slept with mine on and for the most part they actually stay on. All I need is a case protector. A very good product, I'm happy I purchased.

Great! Just needs a few firmware adjustments

These are great! I previously had the Bose Open Ear Ultra Headphones, which are very similar. People say I sound more clear on phone calls with the Shokz. They are also much louder than the Bose, which is really important for me during workouts. As someone with small ears, they are slightly large, but not to the extent that the headphones are uncomfortable to wear. The sound quality could be slightly improved for a more "immersive" feel, and I would like to have more options for the control features. I would also prefer buttons over touch features. Otherwise, I love these! You can wear them with sunglasses with no issues!

SHOKZ Open Dot - Superb Sound and Comfort

I thought I loved the previous SHOKZ headphones I owned - until I purchased these. So versatile and the most comfortable version yet - my husband loved them so much he is ready to “lose” his current headphones so he can get a new pair of these. Also the 2 year warranty is a plus.

They are the most uncomfortable

They are the most uncomfortable shocks that I've owned to date. After a short period of time my inner ear was just throbbing from pain. The fact that there is not different functions available for the tap and pinch features it's just a little confusing to me. You have two different types of buttons but can only use the same function for both.

The sound is good for

The sound is good for open ear headphones. More bass than most. They are not an over the ear or in ear headphone yet have a great sound and imaging. The volume goes up fairly well if you are in louder environments. For walking, hiking and working out, they work really well and stay put. They feel like they are staying put and set pretty securely in your ears. I haven't done hours of listening however they are really comfortable for the time I use them

Great but need work

Headphones are really comfortable and sound amazing. I can still hear everything around me, and even with both in I get clear audio but loud enough outside noise. The only complaints I have are that, A. You can’t change/skip songs. It’d be great to be able to triple press or long hold and skip the current song. sadly, you can only pause/play and adjust volume. B. The microphone is terrible. If you’re on the phone, there’s no voice isolation, unlike Beats, Bose, or Apple, so the person you’re talking to is going to hear ALL the background noise. Also, the microphone is very odd sounding and almost sounds as if you’re in a bathroom with a slight echo. All in all, if you don’t plan on using them for calls, they’re amazing headphones. If you’re a heavy talker (like I am) I’d look into other options.

Not quite what I expected

The fit is great. You can hardly even tell that they are there. Light. Stay in while running. The sound however isn’t the best. I’ve got the OpenRun and absolutely love them. They replaced my Powerbeats pro as my favorite running and everyday headphones. I have to keep adjusting them to get the sound right. The microphone needs work as well. Using these for phone calls, I almost always have to turn off the Bluetooth and use speakerphone. I was super excited about these. They look amazing, I get compliments all the time. I wish the rest were designed a bit better tho

These are the headphones I've needed!

I wear hearing aids so when bone conduction headphones became available I was first in line! The only problem I have had is that I wear both BTE hearing aids and glasses so anything that goes over the top of my ear can be problematical. For obvious reasons earbuds won't work, so these are perfect. I have been wearing these all day at work and I get great sound and my ears aren't sore at the end on the day!
