Amazing

They do not slip anywhere when I run/workout. I love that I can hear my music and hear when someone approaches me. They drown out most but not all of the background noise so I can still hear vehicles and people approaching if I am outside running. I love them. Couldn’t be happier. My only complaint is my own fault because I have my inner ear pierced and I have to move my earring to get a good connection on that side. But again, that’s my own fault. Just something to consider if you get this model.

Excellent

The Opendots are easy to attach to my ear. I don’t have to wonder about the fit or worry whether they will stay seated in my ear canal. Fantastic advantage to AirPods Pro. They are so light that I often can’t feel them on my ear. I don’t experience any fatigue or pain as with wearing the AirPods. The sound is very good for not being stuck in my ear canal. But I often miss my AirPods in loud situations in which the Opendots can get drowned out. The lack of FindMy support is also missed; so convenient to always bring to find AirPods or identify where they were left.

Great! Just needs a few firmware adjustments

These are great! I previously had the Bose Open Ear Ultra Headphones, which are very similar. People say I sound more clear on phone calls with the Shokz. They are also much louder than the Bose, which is really important for me during workouts. As someone with small ears, they are slightly large, but not to the extent that the headphones are uncomfortable to wear. The sound quality could be slightly improved for a more "immersive" feel, and I would like to have more options for the control features. I would also prefer buttons over touch features. Otherwise, I love these! You can wear them with sunglasses with no issues!

Great sound quality with music and audiobooks but

Trying to carry on a phone conversation isn't great. The person on the other end says they can't hear me. Also when trying to use the microphone speak function on the iPhone to dictate texts and such doesn't work well. It only seems to pick up bits and pieces of what I say

Checking all the boxes

As a blind user, I really appreciate not needing to figure out whether I have the right or left earbud. I also love the open ear design because they do not interfere with my ability to since directional sound. I typically only wear one at a time so that when the battery dies, I can switch to the other one and keep my audiobooks rolling. I have done some experimenting with phone calls and reports have come in. That call quality is better when wearing only one earbud.

Phone call quality

Sound is incredible but I use these mainly for work and phone calls. The people I talk to report having a really hard time hearing me especially when there is background noise (other people talking in the room) where this did not seem to be an issue with my open fits I had. Made my ears sore the first week but better now. Any advice would be appreciated on the phone calls quality

Great but need work

Headphones are really comfortable and sound amazing. I can still hear everything around me, and even with both in I get clear audio but loud enough outside noise. The only complaints I have are that, A. You can’t change/skip songs. It’d be great to be able to triple press or long hold and skip the current song. sadly, you can only pause/play and adjust volume. B. The microphone is terrible. If you’re on the phone, there’s no voice isolation, unlike Beats, Bose, or Apple, so the person you’re talking to is going to hear ALL the background noise. Also, the microphone is very odd sounding and almost sounds as if you’re in a bathroom with a slight echo. All in all, if you don’t plan on using them for calls, they’re amazing headphones. If you’re a heavy talker (like I am) I’d look into other options.

Comfortable with great sound. Perfect for Indoor workouts.

These headphones are among the best Shokz has made. I own the OpenMove and OpenFit2. These are by far the best headphones of the lineup, especially compared to OpenFit2. They fit very snuggly in the ear, I love that you can put each bud into any ear (no more left/right), they charge wicked fast and don't block the ear canal. If you are running or cycling, OpenMove may be the better option for situational awareness and sound, but for everyday use and light indoor workouts, these are a great option!

Love Love!!

I love my new Dots. The fit blew my mind as they are so comfortable! You almost forget you’re wearing them. The sound quality is clear as well. I have worn the openskokz for at least 5 years and enjoyed. I thought I would give Opendots a try and I’m so glad I did.

not for everyone

I'm a long time fan of Shokz. however these aren't a good match for me. If you need to wear a mask regularly these flip off very easliy when removing a mask. I also have strange feedback between the two. Finally, if you're switching between two bluetooth devices it can be awkward having to use the app to manage that switch. It's not as seemless as I hoped. I'll return these because they just aren't the best for me.
