I am not a fan of steel cut oats so this enhanced the texture; if you let them soak the water for about 30 minutes it tastes better. Add cinnamon, dash of nutmeg and some walnuts and the flavor profile improves.

This is a brand I can usually trust with instant oatmeals. The only complaint I have is that it taste too sweet. I don’t really think this needs 10g of added sugar. The amount of sugar is my only turnoff/concern about this particular product.

Lately I've just been eating oats and not hitting my protein goals, so I was thrilled to receive this to test out!! The serving size is perfect but the flavor was slightly lacking. I just added some SF syrup and cinnamon and it tastes great. Thrilled to have a high protein oats option in my diet now.

Here’s a tip: these bags have a fill line to help you measure the water needed to make your breakfast! I put water directly into the bag to measure it, then into the bowl with the oatmeal. If it turns out too thin, you can microwave it longer to make it thicker. For the delicious banana nut flavor, I microwave for 90 seconds and it’s perfect. The banana taste isn’t too strong and the nuts add a nice light crunch.
