However, my husband did my test for me and said the following: a light, realistic banana flavor. Good consistency, similar to a less seasoned banana bread!

The one thing I don't love is that it is high in added sugars. Otherwise it is very tasty and doesn't really taste artificial which I was afraid of from the banana

They taste just like the normal oatmeal and don't have a funky after taste which is great. There are chunks of walnuts too! The one packet was very filling and held me over until a little after lunch time. If you're looking for a protein oatmeal I would give these a try!

Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal Banana Nut has 100% whole grains and contains 3.5 grams of total fat per serving, 12 grams of protein, and 230 calories. It has no artificial preservatives or artificial flavors. It claims to be heart-healthy and is a good source of fiber. It cooks in the microwave for under two minutes. It does have flavor and sweetness, but it's not overbearing. My mother who takes heart medication said she had eaten a little bit of it because she said each packet that has 1 gram of saturated fat (4%), 170 mg of sodium (12%), 10 added sugars (22%), is too much for someone like her who have high blood pressure.
