[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oatmeal is a staple breakfast meal in our home. I was so excited to receive this protein oatmeal from Influenster. There is a whopping 12 grams of protein in one packet so not only is this oatmeal filling but the protein helps boost energy. The banana nut flavor is really good and I especially like that it contains dried bananas and banana flakes as opposed to “natural flavors”. I'm guessing it's the addition of the protein that makes this oatmeal so creamy. Normally, oatmeal can be on the drier side but this packet when mixed with just water becomes a really smooth, creamy consistency. It's a tad sweet but the portion size is perfect!

I was thrilled to see Quaker come out with a protein line for their instant oatmeal lineup. I just tried the Banana Nut flavor, and it feels like I've eaten spoonfuls of protein powder. The texture is just awful. Great concept but the R&D needs more work!

However, this banana flavor was so overpowering I really didn't like it, although the added walnuts were great. Anyone who is a fan of bananas will love this though!

I've been working on my weight and diet recently so this was perfect for mornings that are chillier than normal. I loved that the protein aspect didnt get in the way of the flavor (and these flavors were soooo good). I tried it in milk rather than water and it had a great rich consistency.
