[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So thankful to Influenster and Quaker for gifting me this delicious, protein-packed oatmeal to try in exchange for my honest review! My go-to oatmeal has always been Maple and Brown Sugar and this one did not disappoint. It was warm, rich, and utterly delectable. The portion size was impressive too, definitely more than in a typical instant oatmeal. I will be so bummed when I run out of these, and will definitely buy them in the future. I’ve never been so excited for breakfast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've seen my previous review of the Quaker Oat Protein Oatmeal in Brown Sugar/Maple, you'll know it was a game-changer for me. I don't like the slimy texture of average oatmeal, and I was thrilled to learn this type of oatmeal doesn't have that weird texture. It has substance and I love it. So when I went to try the Banana Nut one, I was excited. Side Note: I want to mention that the box says you can add up to 3/4 cup milk to the oatmeal, but if you do that you will get SOUP. So don't. Use 1/2 cup and you'll be fine. Unfortunately, this was not a good flavor. This oatmeal has an odd fake banana flavor, like the candy “Runts”. It didn't taste good and it tasted processed and chemically sweet. But if you like Banana Laffy-Taffy's, I'd give this a try.

I am so sorry Quaker. I felt it only fair to give you my honest opinion. My son bought me a box with Protein by accident and I do not like it at all. I am not a person that takes time out of my day to write reviews very often. But I felt so strongly about this I had to say something. If you like the regular “Brown Sugar and Maple” oatmeal just as it is now, I suggest you forgo the added Protein because it does make a differance. Distinctive look (although they look remarkably similar), smell and taste quite different, (not for the better either). Quaker, sometimes it is just best to leave well enough alone and this is one of those times.

I added some fruits with my meal and it tasted great. It was quick and easy before breakfast which made life so much easier. The extra plus was the protein amount in each packet. Must try.

Being that I'm on a high protein, low-fat “diet” this is perfect for me! Oatmeal keeps you full for a long time, especially with the added protein. The flavor is really good too!
