[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oatmeal was delicious and super easy to prepare if on the go. I used the microwave and cashew milk. I recommend using less than 3/4 cup of milk. I added diced apples for some crunch and topped with cinnamon.

I appreciate the ease, texture, and protein benefit, but there’s way too much sugar in this to make it a quality breakfast or choice. Disappointed and hoped for a healthier option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal packets are yummy. The maple and brown sugar was my favorite. The portions are larger than the packets without extra protein. I love that there is a measuring line on the paper packet so you do not have to dirty up other kitchenware to make one bowl. Another plus is that the oatmeal did not run over in the microwave!

The consistency is a bit too watery for me, so I have lowered the amount of milk used from the mark on the bag. I wish the directions included a way to just used boiling water and no microwave. This oatmeal is a good source of fiber made with 100% whole grains and designed to for satiety. I like that these have at least 10 grams of protein. I’m thrilled that these packets are much larger that the standard Quaker instant packets that I grew up with. One packet is actual a satisfactory serving size. These are definitely convenient to have on hand for an easy Breakfast. The INSTANT nature of the packets didn’t quite deliver for me. However, I did enjoy the packets by cooking them on the stove a bit after it sat in hot water for the recommended 2 minutes. So using a stovetop method is what worked best for me. I samples two flavors. BANANA NUT was okay, but not a favorite. I preferred the maple and brown sugar offering. It had good flavor.

Sometimes I like it a bit more milky or sometimes a little less sweet so it’s so easy to customize to whatever your liking is with the liquid of your choice.
