I purchased this TV at a huge discount and it performs as good if not better than tvs that cost twice as much. The only knock is that during certain scenes the volume lacks sufficient bass and sounds tinny. A good sound bar would correct it. Otherwise, everything else is great.

I considered qualities such as clarity, color palette, pixel back-lighting, side-viewing, sound, etc., and this model checked all the necessary boxes. Plus, the sale was hard to pass up. I only wish the sound quality were a bit more dynamic, but it is certainly adequate. I plan to look into a sound bar as an upgrade.

Tv was a great price but one of the legs came with no screw holes and when Philips was contacted they refuse to send out a new leg and said I must return it to Samsclub and of course when I did they where out of stock.
