When you sit down they don't stretch as much so if your midsection is where it's at pants will be tight around the waste. Standing up fantastic but sitting, you can see the tires lol. I wish they were a little stretchy at the midsection but then they would not be linen. I wish we lived in a perfect world

This is the most comical shrinking I've ever had. I washed according to label and was more conservative than the label by laying flat to dry. The pants length lost 6 inches and the width of the pants leg decreased by 3 inches. Pictured is the gray pair that has been washed and the identical item in oatmeal stripe/same size UNWASHED.

I really these pants initially - loved that they were long enough on my longer legs. Then I washed according to the directions on the tag and they shrank up quite a bit. They are now much shorter and more like ankle pants rather than the nice full length when I bought them. The texture of the fabric also changed and is kind of odd now. I do feel like they run a bit larger than normal. Just bummed because I liked them a lot more before I washed them.

Length shrunk. Rear pocket placement not becoming to me with baggy fit of pants Easy to pull up/down with elastic waistband. Fabric washes nicely. Pants feel cool and comfortable. My husband says they make me look a lot bigger than I really am. Had planned to enjoy for summer pants when going places, but the way they fit I'll wear as work at home pants. Disappointed but didn't return as had worn and washed. Advertised pic makes look better than they are. They looked nice when I saw them in store. The fit and shrinkage in length was a disappointment.

very comfortable! I'm able to dress them up or down for whatever occasion I want. I was worried because another review said they shrink and were cropped but I wonder if they were reviewing a wrong product because I am 5'10 and they cover my ankles and have not shrunk after multiple washes. going back tomorrow to buy a second pair in a different color!
