This is a hollow gold bracelet and not coated or plated. The amount of gold in this bracelet from Sam's was higher than similar bracelets from other vendors, which also cost more. My wife is super happy with the bracelet. Jewelry can be expensive, but I feel this bracelet was good value, and my wife is happy.
