I switched the Yokohama YK-GTX for Michelin Defender 2 tires. The Yokos were stiff, jolted over road holes/bumps, responsive steering, but were nice & quiet. Wanted a smooth, quiet ride, that handled curves smoothly and that absorbed holes and bumps on roads and the freeway like my previous Michelins did. The Defender 2 tires are horrible. My car feels like a Tilt-a-Whirl, unstable, squirrely, and they are not quiet, mostly smooth, but the steering needs second-to-second monitoring and concentration. My last Michelins were outstanding and outlasted their warranty, just stated cracking in the Arizona summer heat. They were smooth, quiet, absorbing and steered wonderfully. So disappointed, paid much more for the Michelins and now I feel stuck...

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). I could feel the difference! Car felt more stable on the turns and handled great on gravel and asphalt.

2024 Honda CRV Hybrid sporty L, Tires grip the road are whisper quiet and make the ride feel taller, very comfortable and smooth ride. 100 times better than the original factory set. zero road noise I highly recomend these tires for any Small suv.

Defender 2 design will provide excellent traction, durability and grip! Excited for the long-term wear too.

Noticed quieter & smoother ride immediately but that may just be the difference between my Hankook’s with 5/32” tread vs. these with 10.5/32” tread.

Rides like a dream on EQUINOX V-6 . Tread wear even with rotation . Holds up to unforeseen pot holes. 2nd set wouldn't run anything else .

Some of the best around. Had original Defeders and loved them. Kept my wife safe in all kinds weather and travel scenarios.
