You know how when you read reviews people say "Wow what a difference these tires make" Put a set of these Defender 2 Michelins on your SUV & then you'll be saying that too! Excellent tires.....well worth the money!!!

The Michelin Defender2 provides a nice quiet ride. They're very responsive yet stable. The 80,000 mile warranty is nice, and did impact my decision, and so far I'm happy with them. Probably the last tires I'll be buying for this vehicle (MB ML350).

I bought a set of four of the Defender 2 model earlier this month expecting them to be an improved version of my previous Michelin Defender tires. What I didn't know until I got home and had a chance to look them over more closely was that the traction rating is “B,” unlike the previous model of tires which were rated “A” for traction. What a disappointment! Why would you have this mediocre traction design to the Defender 2, Michelin? My only other Michelin option for the size I need was the snow tire model, but I wanted year round, all season tires and that left the Defender 2 as the remaining choice. While it's great to buy tires made in the USA, this traction B rating seems rather bush league coming from such a renowned manufacturer.

I only use Michelin Tires on both of my vehicles, and have for many years, Michelin Defenders in the summer & Michelin X-Ice in the winter. I have always received great service, traction & ride, and highly recommend Michelin Tires to my Family & anyone who has asked.,

I purchased this set of tires for one of my four Dodge Grand Caravans. I have Micheline tires on all of them both winter and summer tires. I am very satisfied with the performance of all of them. I have used Micheline tires since 2010 on all my vans.

I was disappointed when I saw the B rating on the traction for an all season radial. I would have preferred and 800 tread wear with an A traction for an all season radial. My fault for thinking all Michelin Defenders were A A rated when I was investigating the tires. The same name (Defender) across the line is confusing.

I used this tire on my '09 Honda Accord for years. The last set lasted 6+ years. I average 11,000-13,000 miles a year. Wore great and evenly with regular rotations and alignments. Now I'm getting them for my '18 Accord. I really like the quality of this tire.

Reviewed everything I could to make sure mom is set up on something safe. Car O.E tires where Continental Contipro Touring. And they were wonderful but seems like these Michelin Defender 2 tired are going to take the Cake! Especially on the roads she's on. They gotta handle well in rain and snow definitely Michelin does both well. Hope the 80k hold up. The Tred is very thick and built well. Good for dirt roads as well. Very responsive on hiway. I used to have Hankook tires on my Honda Civic. They only lasted about 30k miles I had two sets, the one from new and the replacements. Both lasted only 30k and I drive very conservatively. I noticed that my wifes Acura has Michelin tires and has not worn them out after 100,000 miles. So that is 3X longer than my Hankook tires. So now I have Michelin Defender 2 tires and I like the stiffer ride they provide.

When we bought our new 2024 Subaru Forester it came with unacceptable tires which I insisted that the dealer replace with a set of Michelin Defenders. I had researched all tire offerings for this vehicle and these proved to be the highest-rated and best value and they have not disappointed me in any way. Premium rubber for a competitive price is always a great value. That your life and the lives of your family are at stake makes the decision an easy one. As we also roll on Michelin X-Ice 3s in the winter means that we will be covered for years to come!
