Beautiful picture! I compared this to an older (8 year-old) 4K and can see a clear difference in clarity and color. I can’t comment on the sound as I got a soundbar and subwoofer with the purchase of the TV. The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is the lack of brightness. My 4 year-old Samsung Q60 (which was significantly more expensive at the time) will illuminate a room. I find myself dimming the lights in the room where I’m watching this TV. It could use more backlighting.

The smart apps are pretty straightforward to use, which is a big plus for me. I have noticed it can get a little sluggish when I'm switching between apps, though. Only reason I have a Samsung TV is because I bought it from a family member. If I were to purchase a TV today it likely wouldn't be a Samsung unless I had a large discount. I typically get more for my money buying other brands
