Save your money

Bought this about a year ago. The battery stopped taking a charge after two months. Spent another two months dealing with Sam's Cub/Monster on warranty. Finally, they told me to mail it back at my expense ($50). Two months later, I can not get any response from monster!

Amazing

Had this speaker for 2 years now and still going strong. Battery life is outstanding I went a month without charging it while using it everyday for a couple hour's and when we had a power outage I was able to use it as a charger and it has lights to keep a room well lit up.

Do not buy Monster speakers, terrible product

I bought a prior model and it died after 7 months. Sam's club doesn't sell the speaker anymore (no surprise). It no longer takes a charge or even turns on. When I contacted Sam's club, they were no help. When I contacted Monster, they want me to spend $100 to box up the speaker and ship it back to California from NC. So, no, I'm not going to spend more than half the cost of the speaker to wait 4 more weeks. Instead,I would buy a better quality product from a different company and not from Sam's.

JUNK and warranty is a JOKE

Unit has about 6 hours of use and the volume knob has stopped functioning. Upon contacting the manufacturer, they asked for pictures, videos, copies of receipts - then more pictures and more questions upon questions. They seemed to be just attempting to weasel out of honoring their warranty.. Then said i could ship it back to them across the country on my dime (40 bucks or more to ship) BUT if there was any damage incurred during shipping it would be my hard luck... Save yourself the hassle and buy something else - this doesn't even sound all that great and is not very loud.

Broke almost immediately after 90Day Return Window

Owned original Monster. Bought a later model. Bluetooth became unresponsive in under 6 months. The NOAA warning signal is annoying and comes on at random times; you cannot permanently disable. It has a "low battery" verbal warning that comes on after it is already dead and after you plug in the chord to recharge (worthless, happens every time). Customer service at Monster is a joke, go to their website. Can't return because it's been over 90 days. They've permanently lost my business. Hope this helps someone.

Speaker is bad quality and does not last

I bought this item and it was defective. returned it to sams and got another one and it worked great for about 3 months and not it will not hold a charge and its past the 90 day return window. This item has to become defective sitting on a Wearhouse floor for way too long. The speaker itself is great but if it doent last more than a few months whats the point?

Garbage product and customer service

Biggest piece of garbage and waste of money I’ve spent. Bought as a gift for a friend and with in four months doesn’t play wirelessly. Sam’s no longer has the receipt in their system and monster expects me to have the original receipt of the product to be able to file warranty claim. Device is clearly defective and they bet on technicalities to avoid doing what’s right and replacing their trash product. Will never buy another of their products.
