This is a great cup for a kid. The packaging and artwork on the cup is really cool. I love that it has a screw on lid. Although at first, I was really straining trying to pop it off with the tab. The design on the tumbler is very vibrant with the Spiderman and his amazing friends characters. My son loves it and carries it everywhere he goes now. I put ice with water from our fridge dispenser in to see how long the ice would last. About 2 hours, but 7 hours later when I dumped the water out to wash the cup; the water was still really cold. So although the ice didn't last super long, the insulation inside kept the water cold. I would definitely recommend for littles! I had an issue getting the lid on with a child in my arms because uou have to find that groove that matches the cup, but my daughter loves this cup! It indeed is spill proof, I tipped it upside down and gave it a shake. The soft straw helps with transitioning from bottle to cup.
