I love this clock. The music is recorded, I think, because it doesn't sound like it's tinny and there are other sounds like a recorder. It has a sensor that mutes the music when it's dark. We have it set for Christmas songs. I have heard some of the others, and they are beautifully played. The face of the clock is very pretty with reflective stones and shiny metal parts. I noticed that the plates with the numbers on it didn't come back to the flat resting place. I will continue to monitor this. I've wanted one of these for years, but my husband didn't. I don't know why, but this year I got one.

This is a beautiful clock, and it would be great if it worked. Sometimes, I can make it chime and move by rotating the hands manually. That will work just once. After that, all it does it keep time - like a $20 clock. I can make it work by pushing the Demo button, but I don't want to have to do that every hour. Unfortunately, this will go back to Sam's. I'm not going to take a chance on a replacement.

I ordered this clock on the 10th. I believe it said it would be delivered on the 13th then I got an email for the 14th then I got an email for the 15th then I got an email for the 16th. Today is the 16th that I have checked and I see no order whatsoever. I would like to know what happened to my order. Am I going to get it today or not?

I've collected Seiko Melodies in Motion clocks for years and always look forward to the Sam's Club release each fall. The 2025 Special Collector's Edition is beautifully made and still plays 45 melodies, but I noticed it now features 19 Preciosa crystals instead of 22 like prior models. The design feels a bit simpler when the face opens—less of that signature sparkle collectors love—but the melodies and movement remain as charming as ever. As a longtime fan, I appreciate the craftsmanship, though I do miss the more dazzling crystal displays of earlier editions.

Inside house lighting bounces off the face and lens making it very hard to see the hands
