I used to swear by Chapstick (Strawberry) but found that more often than not, my lips would peel if I wore it too much. I've never had this problem with Burt's Bees and love the pepperminty smell. It makes me feel good and my lips have never looked or felt better. I've not bought Chapstick brand since I bought this!

I tend to get really chapped lips, and usually used just any old lip balm I would find laying around. Once I starting using this one, I have been buying it ever since! It really keeps my lips nice and soft, the texture and scent of the product is great. It is a must have for anyone to have at all times!

This is such an excellent product. I play a wind instrument for a living, and cracked or chapped lips make things very uncomfortable. This lip balm protects and heals my lips, and the peppermint tingle feels great when they're tired from hours of playing. The minty smell and taste can be too strong for some, but I appreciate it. Sometimes the balm goes on rather thick, but that's all the better for protecting my lips when they're cracked.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PRODUCT. FEELS GOOD, TASTES GOOD. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS A MECHANICAL ONE. I CARRY IT IN MY POCKET BECAUSE IT IS MY FAVORITE LIP BALM, BUT WHILE I'M WORKING , IT UNWINDS INTO THE CAP AND THEN BREAKS OFF WHEN I OPEN IT ..SO NOW I'M FORCED TO LEAVE IT HOME AND USE BRAND "X".

With my sensitive skin I found myself buying these high claim low performing brands that left me feeling more dry than when I put it on. Not anymore. I love the simple ingredients and the smooth, silky feel and now that it's in an applicator that is simple to use and gives the sensation of applying lotion to my lips, I will no longer be a guinea pig for the latest and greatest new products.

I purchased 2 of the Beeswax Lip Balms last fall for my 2 boys, 7 & 8. Their lips were getting horribly chapped in the fall & winter months. They had their Lip Balm in their pockets consistently & were upset when it was misplaced or went through the wash. So I bought more. It's very soothing & healing & safe due to the ingredients. They even put it on right before bed. They apply it liberally! Love the minty flavor!

OK SO OUT OF THE MANY MANY DIFFERENT LIP BALM'S I'VE TRIED BURT'S BEE'S IS BY FAR THE BEST...I LOVE HOW LONG IT LAST AND I LOVE THE FEELING AFTER I APPLY IT. THE ONLY THING I HATE IS EVERY ONE THAT I HAVE PURCHASED GETS STUCK ON THE TOP OF THE LID, AND A LOT OF IT GETS WASTED. I ALWAYS TWIST THE LIP BALM BACK DOWN ONCE I APPLY IT, BUT IT STILL MANAGES TO GET STUCK AND WASTED. THAT IS THE ONLY THING I HATE....BUT THE PRODUCT ITSELF IS GREAT! ITS TOO EXPENSIVE TO GO TO WASTE.

I've been using the Burt's classic peppermint lip balm for so long I can't remember when it all started. All I know is that I can't live without it. There's one in my purse, one in my gym bag and one by my bed - can't sleep without it. Now that the cold season caught up to me I found myself using it to soothe my poor nose from all the kleenex irritation. THEN I found myself at work with an extremely dried out nose, painfully dry. Living in the desert of Arizona is never easy but having a cold makes it impossible. So I pushed up the lip balm and then with my finger took that portion of the product onto my finger tip and then rubbed it between by thumb and index to soften and warm it and... yes, applied it to the inside of my nose. yup. I know it sounds very odd to say the least but it really relieved my painful dryness and also made me breathe easier because the minty vapors cleared my congestion quite a bit. So that's my story, a little graphic but I figured I would share in case anyone else got caught in that situation and needed some nasal relief. Just so you know -- usually I'm very sensitive to menthol-type fragrances and oils on my skin. I can't use peppermint castile soap for that reason. Burt's Bees peppermint has never bothered my skin - even when I don't have hand lotion nearby and I apply it to the back of my hands to moisturize. It's a lifesaver.
