[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never leave my house without this lip balm. It works wonders in the winter on my lips after being chapped from the dry freezing air and also keeps them nice and soft in the summer when im out in the sun.

A friend of mine got me this because I was out of chapstick, and I got an allergic reaction all over my lips. The peppermint oil is supposed to provide a “nice tingle” to your lips, but it ended up causing mine to swell up and become extremely irritated and painful. I’m giving it a second star because my lips were in fact not chapped anymore.

My husband buys these four-packs for me in bulk and laughs anytime I try to seek out something different...Burt's Bees has always been the ultimate lip balm for me!! I grew up with my mom giving me Blistex and although that stuff glides on more easily, it's a petrolatum base...who wants to put a crude oil derivative on their mouth?? I love that Burt's Bees uses clean and simple ingredients and my favorite is the relieving tingle from the natural peppermint oil:) Burt's Bees, please don't ever go away!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first bought this balm in the 4 pack over the Christmas holidays so I could share it with my 3 granddaughters when they came to visit. It worked out wonderfully well as they asked if I had anything for chapped lips. When I said I had Burt's Bees they were thrilled and said that's just what they use! This wonderful, natural product spans the generations & works so well for all of us!

This product had been my absolute go-to, swear by beauty item for over 15 years. I always had at least 3 tubes or tins in various purses or areas of my house so I was never without it. But with my last purchase, a 2-pack, there is a noticeable and negative change. I always loved how smooth it would go on, never gunky or sticky, and that wonderful peppermint fresh feeling. Now, it was so hard trying to get it on my lips and it actually tugs at the skin. Once on, it is sticky and heavy. I don’t know what was changed, but I’m seriously mourning the loss of my all time favorite product. I would’ve given just 1 star to this most recent experience, but felt that my long love of the old product deserved better. Please, please go back.

This lip balm is.... quite minty. But not too minty where it hurts a lot only a little sting. You could probably get away with not brushing ur teeth for a day using a few layers of this bad boy. my mom has to rip this balm out of my hands because she doesn’t approve of the many many layers I use constantly. Overall i am in awe of this minty magesty and how fabusome it is!!

Did something change with this lip balm? This used to be my favorite lip balm. I have been using this for 10 years. I recently purchased a new pack of this and it has been giving me issues. This burts bees lip balm now gives my lips a reaction. My lips swell up, crack and start weeping pus. It’s extremely painful. I’ve given it a try several times now over the course of 3 months. It immediately causes the same reaction every time and takes 2 weeks for my lips to heal. I can no longer use this lip balm. I’m so sad.

My entire family loves this lip balm! My father is 77 years old and always has one in his pocket. I buy them by the dozen and put them everywhere...my car, my desk, my nightstand, my kids pencil cases, and coat pockets, in gifts, like a new pair of mittens, in college care packages...everyone loves Burt's Bees and appreciates the little suprise.

I first got this lip balm as a gift from my sister. I was surprised at how smoothly it glides on. It is just a little thicker than other lip balms, but that helps to keep the moisture in, and it isn't thick in a bad way. It lasts a lot longer than any other lip balm I've used, even ones that also contain beeswax. It even lasts through gym class (running gets me out of breath easily) and band lessons (I play flute), when the constant flow of air over my lips usually dries them out. If I put it on before bed, I wake up with really soft, healthy-looking (and healthy-feeling!) lips. Even if I get some in my mouth by accident, it really doesn't taste that bad. I have really bad acne, and I'm surprised that the lip balm doesn't cause breakouts around my mouth, unlike other balms that contain petrolatum/petroleum. I think my only qualm about this product is that when it is almost completely used up, I can't easily get to the lip balm at the very bottom.

Conveniently, I was giving away 4 gift bags and each person got their own lip balm! They loved them! Some loved it so much they looked into the brand and purchased more products that they love! Definitely will be adding a Burt's Bees product in any gift I give!
