I love using this balm at night because it is long lasting and it's got a minty tingle. I wake up with my lips moisturized and that's all I can ask for. I don't use it during the day because the mint can be too much and I don't like the idea of applying lip balm from a jar with my finger when I didn't just wash my hands.

I have used this product for well over 6 years. I have a slight obsession with lip balm, and I ALWAYS come back to this one. I love sticking it in the freezer for a cooling effect. You will not go wrong with this. I find that a lot of lip balms leave my lips even drier and "peely" once they wear off, but not this one. You can find these in my purse, my car, my bathroom, my kitchen, at work...obsessed.

Last Oct., I made a large purchase of several different Burt's Bees products. The items were Christmas gifts for my 3 nieces ages, 21, 17 and 14. Coming back to report they loved everything! There are 3 very happy young girls down in south Florida tonight. They carry your products everywhere; including kayaking! :-) Thank you to all at Burt's Bees, great customer service, super products. This was my first ever BB's product like ten years ago, and I still use it daily today. Other lip balms do not compare. The peppermint is so refreshing, its addicting! And it moisturized great. Anytime my lips start to feel dry, I say "Where's my Burt's Bees?" My absolute favorite. I put it on even when my lips aren't dry, that's how great it feels.

I had tried to put it on my lips and the chapstick was just hard. Tried running it across my lips several times in hoping maybe it just needed to warm it up so it would go on my lips. Still barely could get it on my lips. What I did get on my lips it just didn't feerl like it was there and felt weird. Trying cutting wow off twice and still the same. So had to throw it away.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PRODUCT. FEELS GOOD, TASTES GOOD. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS A MECHANICAL ONE. I CARRY IT IN MY POCKET BECAUSE IT IS MY FAVORITE LIP BALM, BUT WHILE I'M WORKING , IT UNWINDS INTO THE CAP AND THEN BREAKS OFF WHEN I OPEN IT ..SO NOW I'M FORCED TO LEAVE IT HOME AND USE BRAND "X".

I am 46 years old and ever since I was a teenager I have gotten cold sores several times a year. So aggravating and unsightly. The winter of 2011 will go down as one of the coldest on record where I live. I woke up one morning and my lips were red, swollen and dry like a desert corpse.
