At first I thought the lip balm was very nice due to it making my lips feel more hydrated but eventually after a couple minutes they would feel even dryer than before and my lips would start peeling. I would apply some every couple mins Bc it wasn’t working and it would feel good for about 20 minutes then again, it would be back to the dry stage, very annoying I don’t want to have to apply chapstick every 5 minutes throughout the whole day for it to work. I tried Carmex and some articles online said it was bad for your lips and would make them worse but what I found was carmex works 10x better than Burt’s bees don’t be fooled by the “natural ingredients”

My first love from Burt's Bees was the Pomegranate Oil Lip Balm and I lost it :( *sheds a tear*. Then this year for my birthday I got this lip balm and I keep it with me at all times and apply and reapply continuously through the day. I don't think I could live without it!

The waxy texture takes some getting used to, I'll admit. But this is the most moisturizing lip balm I've ever used (and as an admitted lip balm addict, I've used a LOT.) I recently purchased lip balms from a couple of mainstream brands (which I'll leave unnamed) and I received another tube of this as a gift (WHY is this not the only lip balm I buy? Seriously, it deserves to be.) I'd been wearing them for a while, and got seriously tired of the dry lips...those mainstream brands made my normally soft, supple lips dry and rough!!!! I broke out the tube of Burt's Bees lip balm that I had stashed away (planning to use up the others first) and it's an INSTANT difference. Within minutes, my lips are soft and smooth again. The waxy texture makes this lip balm GREAT under lipstick as well. It doesn't "melt" the lipstick like some do. Perfect!

It worked out wonderfully well as they asked if I had anything for chapped lips. When I said I had Burt's Bees they were thrilled and said that's just what they use! This wonderful, natural product spans the generations & works so well for all of us!

You can't go wrong with the classic beeswax lip balm. It's not gooey or sickly sweet like most lip balm or chapstick. It's fresh and light and pepperminty, but not at all like Vap-o-Rub. My only complaint is that sometimes it seems like it's too thick--not spreadable enough. However, it's always my go-to lip balm. There's nothing better.

Bert's Bees' Beeswax Lip Balm is the best I have ever used for chapped lips. Even when they get very chapped, one application of this lip balm, & they are almost perfectly kissably soft again.

This is the stuff that got me hooked on Burt's Bees to begin with! I had to steal so much from my friends, that they eventually got me my own, and it's been Burt's only for me. :) This stuff always feels better to me than Chapstick and Softlips, and would recommend this to anyone, even strangers!

This is the very first Burts Bees product that I came in contact with. I was sold after using it the first time. It helped my lips and the best part is that it didn't make my face break out around my mouth. Any time I use a product on my lips, it has the tendency to feather out past my lips and it always results in deep, painful breakouts. This one never made me endure that. I have multiple tubes of this everywhere!

AND, unlike other balms, it doesn't make your lips need more and more just to stay normal. You can use this only when you need it (like on an outdoor adventure, or when the weather is especially dry) and not become dependent on it.

There is a reason why this stuff comes in a golden tube, because it is pure gold. I have tried other lip balms but I always come back to this one. I have learned my lesson, so now I'm here to stay as Burt's Bee's user!!! It doesn't matter how chapped my lips are, this stuff always saves them without a shadow of a doubt! I will give you fair warning, Once you start using this stuff you will never want to go back to any other lip balm!!!!!!
