[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My most favorite this about this product is that its cute, crafty, and 100% Eco friendly. this tin is reusable for almost anything and is really convenient not only for people with chapped lips bu also for dry fingers and hands. Rubs some on your lips then your hands and feel the difference!

While the description may state it's the "original", this is not the same formula that made this lip balm amazing and popular 15+ years ago. Although the formula doesn't seem to have changed significantly, the ingredients for the true original, in case anyone would like to know, were listed as: "Beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (vitamin E), lanolin, peppermint oil, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract." I'm guessing the biggest difference is the omission of vitamin E from the current formula. Hopefully Burt's Bees will consider using the original formula again and return this balm to its former glory. Note how the bee also looked different on the label for the original (see attached image).

I love love love love love LOVE this product! It works really well and tingles when applied. I also like how it doesn't really have a taste, so you don't gag every time you lick your lips. Every time I see it in a store I buy it, you can never have to many.

Love at first sight! As soon as I started using this chapstick I was addicted! I have one next to my bed, one in my pocket at all times, one in each of my purses and one for the car. That way, no matter where I go, I'll never be without it. It is so amazing, and the minty aroma in intoxicating!

I tried this for the 1st time last winter and was truly amazed. Every year I suffer from extreme dryness, it's so bad that I have small scars on my lips from where they've split repeatedly. My lips have not cracked or split once since using this. This one is a lifer.

This is great for dry winter lips and keeps the chapped lip syndrome at bay. I use it all year round, too. I wear it over my lip color and it gives my lips a gloss. When I wear it alone, the tingly feeling is so much fun and soothing. I keep one balm in my purse and one in my bathroom.

I too have used Burt’s bees for years!! I loved the peppermint smell and tingle!! But the last time I used it my lips reacted in a negative way. They were red, itchy and swollen! I have had to go to the doctors twice and now have discontinued use of this product. Not sure what is diff but something definitely is.

I've been using Burt's Bees Lip Balms and Shimmers for a number of years now. I always trusted their ingredients to be of high quality and safe. For some reason I checked the list of ingredients the other day and was shocked to see "canola oil" in these products! Canola oil is an unsafe product and I will not have it on my lips because it's ingesting it, nor will I cook with it. No more lip products for me!

I tried this lipbalm, and it really is excellent--I would recommend it to a friend for sure--but unfortunately, as the skin around my lips began itching, I read the ingredients. Lanolin! Please please please, Burt's Bees, come out with a lanolin-free version for us girls with sensitive skin! :'(

I have been using this product for about 5 years now.As a musician dry lips are especially awful, I have always loved that this product is long lasting, you can put it on at night before ed and wake up and feel that your lips are moisturized. The tingly feeling is also really refreshing.
