I use my nail to scoop a little bit up and then put it on my lips. It feels different from the stick. Smoother and a little lighter. Not greasy or sticky. This is my favorite. This lip balm is probably the best lip balm I have ever used. Not only does it work great to keep my lips moisturized, it doesn't leave my lips greasy or "sticky". Also, this product doesn't wear off! I put this lip balm on before bed and when I wake up my lips are moisturized and the lip balm is still on my lips! Also, I love the tingling sensation you get after applying this to your lips and I love the relaxing peppermint smell! Recommended it to a friend whose very picky about lip balms and she loved it!

I ADORE how tiny and cute the tin is!!!!! I can just stuff it in my pocket and whenever my lips are thirsty I can be like "Oh! Hey I have Burts Bees in my pocket!" and then it's like BAM!!! I'm all minted up and my lips are like "THANK YOU!!!" And thank you for NOT testing on animals! I appreciate it and so do our little friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, my FAVORITE Burt's Bees product no longer exists. Oh how I miss the Clove Oil lip balm. But...since it's gone, and it's never coming back :( I use the regular Burt's Bees as a more than adequate substitute. I love it. My lips have never felt better (except when I was using the clove oil lip balm) and my sweet boyfriend keeps this product in his car, bathroom, pocket, backpack...everywhere...just in case I need it.

I use Burt’s Bees lip balm exclusively. Lately I’ve noticed the caps are cracking after first few uses….they never used to do this! Now, with the cracks, the lids don’t stay on snugly. Your Quality Control folks need to take a look at this and rectify. Thanks.

I've been using the Burt's classic peppermint lip balm for so long I can't remember when it all started. All I know is that I can't live without it. There's one in my purse, one in my gym bag and one by my bed - can't sleep without it. Now that the cold season caught up to me I found myself using it to soothe my poor nose from all the kleenex irritation. THEN I found myself at work with an extremely dried out nose, painfully dry. Living in the desert of Arizona is never easy but having a cold makes it impossible. So I pushed up the lip balm and then with my finger took that portion of the product onto my finger tip and then rubbed it between by thumb and index to soften and warm it and... yes, applied it to the inside of my nose. yup. I know it sounds very odd to say the least but it really relieved my painful dryness and also made me breathe easier because the minty vapors cleared my congestion quite a bit. So that's my story, a little graphic but I figured I would share in case anyone else got caught in that situation and needed some nasal relief. Just so you know -- usually I'm very sensitive to menthol-type fragrances and oils on my skin. I can't use peppermint castile soap for that reason. Burt's Bees peppermint has never bothered my skin - even when I don't have hand lotion nearby and I apply it to the back of my hands to moisturize. It's a lifesaver.

I first got this lip balm as a gift from my sister. I was surprised at how smoothly it glides on. It is just a little thicker than other lip balms, but that helps to keep the moisture in, and it isn't thick in a bad way. It lasts a lot longer than any other lip balm I've used, even ones that also contain beeswax. It even lasts through gym class (running gets me out of breath easily) and band lessons (I play flute), when the constant flow of air over my lips usually dries them out. If I put it on before bed, I wake up with really soft, healthy-looking (and healthy-feeling!) lips. Even if I get some in my mouth by accident, it really doesn't taste that bad. I have really bad acne, and I'm surprised that the lip balm doesn't cause breakouts around my mouth, unlike other balms that contain petrolatum/petroleum. I think my only qualm about this product is that when it is almost completely used up, I can't easily get to the lip balm at the very bottom.

I've been a die-hard fan of this lip balm for over 5 years. No other lip care product even comes close to Burt's! Keeps my lips moisturized, without them feeling like they have an oil-slick on them. The smell and taste is great and the price is very reasonable for the quality of the product.

Absolutely the best the only one I ever use I tried it once many many years ago and have been addicted ever since I love it love it love it love it love it it is the greatest greatest chapstick that I have ever used in my life it is the only thing I use on my lips the moisture is wonderful the peppermint tingle is great last long absolutely a fan totally totally ur num 1 fan thank you both for making the greatest product in the world
