Very moisturizing. When I started using this, my lips were incredibly chapped to the point that the skin would break and bleed every time I moved my mouth. This lip balm resolved the issue. The problem was that I was using brands like ChapStick which contain chemicals that dry out your lips even more when you stop using them, thus creating a vicious cycle of chapped lips. Since this stuff is natural, that's not an issue. Also, it's long-lasting so I'm not constantly re-applying, and I've found that if I use it over lipstick, it'll "seal" the lipstick in and make it last longer, too. I'll never use any other lip balm.

This tube right here is what started it all for me... Years ago, I tried this original lip balm & fell in love with it and the Burt's Bees company. Since then, I have tried 1,000's of lip balms and still go back to this one. There is nothing better! Now I have MANY Burt's Bees favorites and am thankful for a company I can trust to be natural with my skin allergies. Being from Maine, also made me love Burt a bit more...

Love the beeswax formula! I have never been much of a fan of putting my finger down in a chapstick then onto my lips but it is totally worth it for my resutls! Recently my boyfriend has started using his finger in the stuff too! He is addicted and only likes it in the tin formula! He will never go back to Chapstick again! This chapstick is definitely the most moisturizing and makes my lips feel amazing. I was really sad to see that it started lightening my upper lip. I have a brown upper lip and pink bottom lip (African descent), so it was great for my pink bottom lip, but definitely not the brown upper lip. Unfortunately, I will have to discontinue using this.

Luckily Burt's Bees has made an un-tinted lip balm that REALLY works. It keeps your lips soft and smooth without making them greasy or sticky. I've used this for years and I can't imagine switching over to anything else!

This specific lip balm brand has been my favorite ever since I started using it. That was over 13 years ago. However, I have noticed that in my recent 2 years of use that the (original lip balm with vitamin E) has changed! I don’t recognize what the change is. It could be one of the ingredients, it could just be a bad batch, but three bad batches of lip balm in a row? Nooo. Please bring the OG back. I’m still a frequent user of this brand and will definitely come back to the “original,” if it is “original” again. Thanks for the years Burt’s Bees!

I like this product but the only thing is I am very sensitive around the mouth area and it burns a little. Maybe from the peppermint oil. The burning sensation does go away and you are left with moisturized lips. I actually like the Replenishing Lip Balm better, which I also have. No burning and keeps your lips moist.

At first I thought the lip balm was very nice due to it making my lips feel more hydrated but eventually after a couple minutes they would feel even dryer than before and my lips would start peeling. I would apply some every couple mins Bc it wasn’t working and it would feel good for about 20 minutes then again, it would be back to the dry stage, very annoying I don’t want to have to apply chapstick every 5 minutes throughout the whole day for it to work. I tried Carmex and some articles online said it was bad for your lips and would make them worse but what I found was carmex works 10x better than Burt’s bees don’t be fooled by the “natural ingredients”
