After seeing all these comments, i bought this version and the one in a tin. It feels like the worst product i used in the recent years. I cannot apply it normally as the stick is too dry (the same with the balm). And it doesn't even help a bit. Had high hopes for this product and was very disappointed.

im in love with this product it meets all my needs! i recieved this as a birthday gift and instantly put it on within 15 minutes my lips were no longer dry and chapped or red! and i love the pepermint feel/flavor it really helped and is worth the price! if your looking for a chapstick that nourishes fast and well this is the one for you!

I've always moisturized my lips, especially during winter. My lips were normal, dry in the winter and fine throughout the year. This year, I started using Burt's Bees instead of chapstick or vaseline. I'm converting to natural alternatives and thought this would be good. Unfortunately, my lips are now in worse shape than they ever were. They are red and irritated, peeling and burning. This lip balm is waxy and doesn't soak in well. It temporarily relieves the symptoms it has caused by sitting on top but ends up making it worse if I don't have it on. I'm throwing it all away. Terrible stuff. I love my other BB products though.

This is my favorite lip balm. I love the peppermint scent and the tingle it gives my lips, which lasts for quite a while. I've had problems with other lip balms like the Happy Hempster irritating my lips and making them itch-not a problem with Burt's Bees!

I used to love buying the different flavored chapstick / lipglosses from the bath and body shops, but I never realized how much I was reapplying them and still complaining of dry lips. About a year ago I was introduced to Burts Bees Lip Balm and to this day have not purchased anything else!

Your new lids are ridiculously thin, they crack upon first removal and then don’t fit properly any longer. Old square edged lids won’t fit the new tubes either. Don’t use the excuse you’re trying to use less plastic-it’s a money grab. After over 30 years of use, seriously considering changing brands….

I’ve been using Burt’s bees for over 5 years and have never had an issue. I keep one in my car, my purse, my desk and bed side table. I ran out and had to replace 2 a couple weeks ago. Now they’re drying my lips out more than anything and I need to find something else to use. Very upset by this!!

Ever since I was in middle school I've tried multitudes of different kinds of bargain brand lip balms like Chapstick, Blistex, and Softlips (just to name a few) and when I discovered Burt's bees in highschool I never looked back or tried any other lip balm ever again. It keeps my lips soft and moist and reapplication throughout the day is minimal unless I do a lot of kissing. I've been using this product for about half a decade now and it is still simply the best. I often use it over my lipstick to create a somewhat glossy, but still classic look. This product is a must have for anyone, man or woman, that want to have soft, moisturized lips!

I do like Burt's Bees products, but I keep hoping that they will make a lip balm without lanolin in it and they never do. I think the lip balms are good otherwise, and people always give them to me as gifts because they know I like Burt's Bees. However, I am allergic to lanolin so the lip balms make my lips red and sore.

Burt's Bees lip balm is "worth walking almost a mile each way back to the store after buying almost $150 in groceries an hour prior since I didn't feel like driving" good! I kid you not, NO other product works better on me, and I am forever grateful to a friend that introduced me to this brand and used it for the past year and love it, and switching away from it for even a week was a bad experience in itself... I lost my previous tube of Burt's Bees, but didn't have a chance to buy or use ANY lip balm for 3-4 days, whereby things got so bad that although I should've just gone elsewhere and continue to somewhere that HAD Burt's Bees, but I mistakenly took my chances at a gas station that didn't and got "something else" as an emergency; mind you that this was a mainstream brand and MEDICATED, thinking that it'll help with my lips that were so chapped, it cracked open when I smiled. "Something else" Didn't do ANYTHING for the 3 days or so of LIBERALLY spreading it on (and I mean what felt like 1/8 of the tube at a time and increasing out of desperation; it even started bleeding/hurting again when I laughed this morning)... However, I'm still amazed that with NO chemicals, preservatives or "medications", that the crack in my lip feels better in a matter of MINUTES and didn't bleed/hurt even when I made a full, hearty, mouth-open-all-the-way yawn soon after, vs. 3 days of frantically trying "something else" to no avail. Thank you for making such an amazing product!
