Smaller Loaf

I have bought this bread for a long time. Suddenly it is 8 fewer slices. The loaf I just bought has slices that are 30 percent shorter - they don't even come to the top of the toaster slice opening. I didn't notice it being any cheaper. Very disappointed.

Very disappointing.

I thought I would love this bread, but it was a real disappointment. It wasn't there. I really wanted a sandwich, and the bread wasn't there. You must have quite a selection of bread, but you couldn't find another loaf? Multigrain with nuts shouldn't be hard to find. Oroweat makes several loafs that fit the description, as does Dave's bread. You could even have subbed a simple loaf of whole wheat bread. It would have been bread. Instead, I got nothing. This is a lot like when I order sliced Italian bread. It's a dollar loaf from your bakery. One of several french and Italian loaves you have. Plain, sliced, decorated with sesame or everything. I have to choose one loaf on your web site, but if I could come to the store, I could choose one that is actually on the shelf. Instead, I have to settle for choosing one and hoping you have it. And, like today, usually you don't have the one I selected, and you send nothing. I have gone weeks without bread because I chose the wrong loaf. So, I will once more do without bread, because you wouldn't make a substitution from the many similar products. Don't take this to mean you should substitute just anything if you can't find the exact product. I ordered Diet pop once and got subbed a bottle of sugar sweetened pop. I'm diabetic, that's never going to work. I gave it to a neighbor. Or once when I ordered canned beef. You sent beef hash. It looked and smelled like greasy dog food. I may have tasted like it, too. It certainly didn't look like roast beef, and the taste was disgusting. Why would you send someone who never buys potatoes a can of potatoes, grease, and a very little bit of beef? My final point is that I am a single person living alone. I can't drive, or even walk to get something you left off the list, so when you leave something off, I have to try again on the next order. I also can't order repeatedly until you send the right thing. I live alone, and have a limited budget. Another $35 order the same week isn't very often possible. So I'll spend another week without bread. I bet this would have been a great loaf of bread. Would have made a great chicken salad sandwich. But I'll won't know this week.

Sawdust Bread

This bread has devolved into something that has an odd, unpleasant taste and texture. The cellulose fibers seem to stick in the back of our throats. If a tiny amount of pickle juice soaks in, this bread completely disintegrates into mush, unable to hold the sandwich together. I tried toasting it to mask the flavor, but I still found it unpalatable. I've eaten bread with cellulose, but this tastes different. I used to love Orowheat breads, but now it just tastes like it's made of sawdust. I hope this not the new norm. I refuse to buy this expensive, awful bread again.

ill pass on this bread !!

This bread you can taste/see the grains in it but that's all that is good about - otherwise I'll pass on this brand of bread , there is nothing to it as it is way too soft

Good bread, good flavor.

Since I am encouraged to eat whole grains, I found this one has the best flavor for my taste. Sometimes the seeds are bit annoying but otherwise, it's a good bread.

Online order substitutes

This was a substitute for organic 22 grain and seed bread. If you’re going to substitute a different bread, you should make sure it’s a similar organic bread

Expensive substitutions

The original order was for Great Value mutli grain bread @ $1.98 a loaf. The substitute bread was Orowheat 12 grain @ $4.24 a loaf. Double the price!! I disagree with such an expensive substitute and I prefer to not make the substitution.
