They are little square pats that you add a little water to rub into a lather. I've not seen face wash like this before. The smell was pleasant. It cleaned my face well. I'd recommend this product , however I think I would rather just buy a bottle of face wash in stead of little pats. Then I can tailor how much soap I use.

I did noticed, when I first opened the package, There was a citrus smell. I really did like that. When I added the water, it did start to foam, but not as much as I thought it would. And when I applied it to my face, it felt very clean. After rinsing, my face felt clean and smooth. I do like how it makes my face feel, but what affects does it have....I'll have to keep using. I can see this being especially useful for those who travel as it is small and without any liquid and therefore easy to carry. It is a small square shape that dissolves in your hand with water. It has no sulfates,no parabens, and no mineral oil. I felt it cleansed well and left my skin smooth. There was a fragrance and if you don't mind waiting for it to dissolve an interesting new means of application.

The package contains several one use squares in a resealable tray that you activate with water and rub into your face then rinse. It lathers really well. But you do have to have quite a bit of water on your face and hands for it to activate properly. Don't try to just wet it and use it. I did the first time and it crumbled. I could still use it though after adding more water. They have a nice, bright fragrance that isn't overwhelming and don't feel drying to my skin after rinsing. A lot less plastic is used in this kind of product which I appreciate and what's used is recyclable along with the cardboard sleeve. These melts also contain no sulfates, parabens, or mineral oil which I also love. Definitely recommend them for the convenience alone!

The melts come in a nice, sturdy, resealable package that is easy to open and reseal. The melts are maybe a little bigger than a quarter and maybe just as thick. You only need a little water for the melt to change from a paper like feeling into a wonderfully thick and luxurious lather. The melt has a wonderful light scent. The lather spreads across your face easily. be mindful to keep it away from your eyes just like with any cleanser. Work the lather in good and then rinse it off. The cleanser washes off easily and does not leave any residue on your skin. I have an oily skin type and this did not make my skin feel oily after using it. I washed it off and followed it up with my favorite Olay moisturizer and was good to go. I really enjoyed using this product and how easy it was to use. I love the way my skin felt afterwards. It's a unique product and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family members.

When I first received my pack of melts, I read over the directions and how to use. I used one in the shower each morning the last week. The Olay Cleansing Melts are essentially little squares of dissolvable facial wash. You hold them in your hands and soak them for 3 seconds, then you lather the soap in your hand and wash your face with it. From my experience, it is important that you do not keep your hands under the water for longer than three seconds. These dissolve very quickly and can be dissolved with a small amount of water. They come in a small square container that is resealable, which I think is very handy. After using one and washing my face with the soap as I normally would, my skin felt unbelievably smooth. There is no waste left that you need to throw away. These are very innovative and would be useful for someone who travels a lot because they are not liquid until you add water. These would be great for traveling on a plane or for someone who lives a nomadic lifestyle. I would recommend these in the future and will keep using them.
