Olay has always been a favorite and these Olay Facial Cleansing Melts is the reason I love them so much. I'm one of those people who love to use something that I don't have to measure. A dime size is always my handful. One small square size cleans my entire face. Olay facial cleanser cleans my face, leaving mt skin feeling fresh and hydrated! My skin has been clean of oil, and residue since using. This is a great cleanser.

The exfoliating beads in the cream did not break down as easily as other exfoliating creams, but it does give a fresh clean smell. I still found the little beads on my skin after I got out of the shower. Not an exfoliating creams I would really use again.

It contains vitamin C which I feel kept my face from feeling dried out. Really a good idea of a little pad loaded with cleanser & vitamin C. Comes in a sealable tray that is great for traveling. I loved just putting the pad in my hand & under water & cleanser instantly. Pay attention to instructions that say "gently add water."

However, the product did not work as well as I had hoped. Since Olay is known for their fabulous hydrating moisturizers I was expecting my face to feel soft and luxurious after using the Melt. My face did not feel that way. In fact it did not have that great clean feeling. I still had to use a makeup remover to remove my eyeliner. The melt did work the way directions indicated. It soaped up right away in the running water, had a nice fragrance and stores great. These would be ideal for travel and taking to the gym. I would recommend them for a quick facial cleansing but not for a deep clean.

All you have to do is put one in your hand, add a little bit of water, rub your hands together and a rich creamy lather forms. You can feel it working as you rub the rich lather all over your face! The pads dissolve in your hand with only a few drops of water providing a rich lather that is fragrant and nondrying. These pads are ideal for everyday use. As an added plus, these dissolving pads could be added to carryon luggage on a plane without TSA drama. These cleansing melts exceeded my expectations. They ticked off many boxes for me including convenience, great scent, effectiveness and good use of packaging.
