This design helps ensure water comes out gently and safely, while the fold-down straw keeps the spout clean when not in use. If your child is having some difficulty with the straw, here are a few tips that may help: Make sure the straw and all components are securely attached and free from blockages.Clean the straw and bite valve thoroughly with warm, soapy water to remove any residue.When biting down on the straw, remind your child that it may take a little pressure to release the liquid.
