I washed this monstrosity as soon as I got home before putting it on my bed .I thought it was beautiful, plush, heavy and nice, but after washing, it turned into a hard cotton ball feel and look all shriveled up even on the low setting on my dryer very (followed washing directions )disappointing did not look the same at all very ugly

I wanted to love this as it looked like it was exactly what I was looking for. It ended up being way too hot, even after i dropped the AC lower. I have the Members Mark egyptian cotton sheets and combined with those this slid right off the bed at night. I ended up returning. Pluses are it looks beautiful and is super soft!

If you're dreaming of waking up looking like a shaggy black dog and coughing up faux fur.,,by all means purchase this comforter. Bought the black one and the faux fur immediately started shedding everywhere. After one night of this thing on the bed we were covered with fur, the bed was covered, EVERYTHING. So this comforter went straight to the trash and we spent hours washing our bedding, cleaning the floors, and trying to get all the shedded black fur up and off. What an experience and not a good one. I should have bagged this thing up and returned it but didn't want that shaggy mess spreading. Huge disappointment. Terrible quality. Other reviews seemed positive so maybe we got a bad one but it was awful.

10/10 I would buy this blanket over and over again! It is SO SOFT. It is heavy not like my weighted blanket though so it doesn't restrict my leg movement. It is super warm so i probably won't use it in the summer but it is glorious in an Idaho winter! I haven't washed it yet but it's so oversized I will probably just take it to a laundromat after reading other people's reviews about that but I love it enough to do that. lol I got the red one and it's more of a burgundy/ purple color. I have no regrets about this blanket set at all!

This blanket is beautiful however sheds everywhere. After three washes and numerous rounds in the dryer it is still shedding everywhere!!! We have black fuzz all over the house, and in our eyes every morning with no end in sight.
