Syncs to TV for control of volume w remote, but also can do Airplay which is nice. Sound travels well.

As a stand-alone, without separate woofer and/or side speakers, it provides a full spectrum range that is very high quality. It's the best soundbar on the market and personally the highest quality one I've ever owned. The sound is crisp and booms, regardless of the room setup or dimensions. It is expensive, but it's worth it if you can't install wired surround sound.

I bought this Sonos soundbar expecting premium audio performance to match its premium price tag, but it is simply not worth the money. The sound quality is underwhelming and completely missed my expectations for what it costs. I actually have an LG soundbar that cost a lot less and delivers by far better sound, richer depth, and a much cleaner listening experience. To make matters worse, the user experience is highly intrusive. The Sonos app blocks you from logging into your own account or configuring your system unless you grant them sweeping permissions and allow them to track your data/location. A speaker shouldn't hold your account hostage just to force data sharing. Save your money—buy an LG soundbar instead for better audio performance and fewer corporate headaches
