Dave's Killer white bread

well when you take out all the bad stuff they've been putting in the bread you just have to see you know you get used to the taste and the texture I put it in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds and that seems to do good or you can toast it but it's not white white now don't don't think of it like that but if you want to do a healthier choice yes I would choose this for white bread done right

Doesn’t look like white bread but makes good toast

This is more dense than regular white bread, the color is darker and it’s not light and fluffy like regular white bread. I only use the bread for toast with butter and it tastes great. I also like the large slices, two pieces are filling enough for breakfast.

Best choice out here

This bread is one of the only safe ones on the shelf. It’s expensive but knowing they’re getting the best makes me grateful we can afford it. I’m used to white bread so yes there’s a difference. It’s like picking up the orange instead of the candy bar.

The dietician recommended this brand because I needed bread that was free of calcium propinate. I keep it in the refrigerator. I tried all their varieties, and they are all quite good. They come in regular width slices or thin slices if you're trying to lose weight.

New staple in our home! Absolutely worth trying!

A friend of mine introduced this bread to me and I have been buying it ever since. My husband and I as well as my mother in law suffer bad from acid reflux and this bread doesn’t irritate that like other breads do. I enjoy it in the mornings for toast with some butter on top. It is so good and keeps me feeling full for most of the morning. It has a great taste to it and adds to the flavor of the foods you eat with it! This is a new staple in our home! Would highly recommend!

I usually only eat killer Davis bread that has the nuts and seeds and whole wheat. So I always buy one loaf of that and now I’ve begun to buy one loaf of white because frankly when you make French toast or toasted cheese sandwiches there’s too much flavor in the whole wheat and the white bread. although it’s delicious, doesn’t take away from what’s in my sandwich lol lol. It is the best white bread I’ve ever had and when you make toast, it taste like it came right out of the oven at grandma‘s house.

Good Toasted

I was having a craving for white bread but since I'm trying to eat more whole grains, I decided to give this bread a try. First off, I have to say that if you're looking for that pillowy soft, squishy white bread that is equally good slathered with butter right out of the bag, or toasted, this is not it. At least not for me. This bread is more like a white whole wheat bread. I liked it but it did not hit the comfort food spot that I was going for. I've found it to be good, toasted and made into a sandwich with almond butter and raspberry jelly. I bet it would also be delicious as avocado toast and for egg sandwiches too.

Expensive for a loaf of bread, not ever fresh.

My family tries to eat healthy, watch ingredients including fewer preservatives and artificial additives. This bread has some great ingredients, but I've yet to get a loaf that tastes fresh and not like it's been on the shelf for a week or more. Not a lot of alternatives to choose from, especially organic, but for the huge price, in an ideal world, this bread should be fresher and softer.

Disappointing taste and texture.

I want a Good tasting healthy bread without enriched or bleached flour as an ingredient. This is not it. Still searching. The packaging claims that the bread is soft. It's not and the texture is dense. It's what I'd expect if I were biting into a sponge but not bread.

I found out that Dave's organic killer white bread has glysophate The weed killer. It's very dangerous to your neurological system. So paying almost $7 a loaf for bread to find out that it's got non organic ingredients from a 3rd party independent lab tests.
