Poor Service Great Product

The tires have performed very well, and Goodyear continues to meet my expectations for quality. I have had no issues with them to date. However, my service experience at Sam’s was disappointing. I had a 4:00 PM appointment, arrived at 3:45 PM, and did not leave until after 6:00 PM. This was my first time purchasing tires from Sam’s, and the excessive delay—combined with the repeated excuses I was given—left a poor impression. Based on this experience, I am unlikely to return for future service.

Great high mileage tire

2023 Mazda CX-5 replaced OEM Tyco tires with Goodyear Assurance MAXlife 2. After initial break-in period tires provide exceptional handling and quiet smooth ride. Makes the CX-5 shine in every way of handling and ride. Most surprised how quiet and comfortable the ride is for a high mileage tire.

Tire not properly balanced.

This is the second tire I purchased (this year) from Sam's. After having this tire installed, the front end of my car developed a vibration. I assumed it was the front end needing an alignment, so I took it to the Ford dealership. When they checked the car out they found neither of the tires installed by Sam's was properly balanced. The newest tire had 5 ounces of weights on it and it only needed 2.25 ounces. This cost me $145.00 to have the tires properly balanced. Not sure if it was the attendant or their machine needs recalibrating. I still like shopping at Sam's and love the ScanNGo feature.
