A few years ago, I bought a bottle of this whisky and didn't like it. Back then, it tasted like an inferior version of JW red label, but rougher and harsher. (And I don't like JW red label to begin with.) I bought it again today to see whether it was any better. It is: much better. It's much smoother. There's not much peat, only a hint, but it's much more drinkable. And subtle. Sam's Club must have found a better supplier. (I'd like to know which distillery in Scotland made this, but it's probably a secret.) Good work, Sam's Club. I'll be buying this again.

I am amazed at the 5 star reviews I have read. This is one of the worse alcoholic beverages I have ever had.
