[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth, light, and delicious; had a feeling I would enjoy this product because I already enjoy the yogurt that Oikos puts out, and that feeling was confirmed upon first sip. Unlike other protein shakes I’ve had before, this one is much “thinner”, which (at least for me) meant that it settled on my stomach more easily. The taste was a very gentle vanilla, and was delicious. Very thankful that I was able to get this product as a sample to try!

The sweetness made it difficult to drink. The vanilla taste is good and it is creamy if you can get past how sweet it is. I would wonder how different flavors would taste compared to this.

To describe the taste further, think of someone attempting to make a healthier version of vanilla soft serve that never fully set. The flavour is a light vanilla milk without the dreadful protein powder drink flavour or feel. Texturally it is more similar to an oat or even pea milk rather than standard milk. Another pro of this is the extremely low sugar content compared to many other pre-made protein drinks. I do appreciate that even though the beverage is in plastic (usually a huge pet peeve of mine) it can be recycled with your usual home recycling opposed to the pain of terracycle packaging.

It was super creamy and reminded me of vanilla ice cream :) My teenage daughter has been really active in sports, and we've been pushing her to consume more protein for muscle revocery...that's not always easy with a busy schedule. These bottles are perfect to take with on the go, and she, too, loved the flavor!
