Not Necessary

I have not used these for my son. But as a teacher in the 2 year old class at a preschool, I have helped to potty train dozens of children. I did not see any advantage to potty training for the kids whose parents bought these (or any) training pants compared to the parents who just went from diapers straight to underwear. If you have the extra money, maybe it will work for your child. But these are harder to change than a diaper for bowel movements, so I personally plan to use regular diapers until my son is consistently using the toilet and then switching straight to underwear (I sometimes see children delaying potty training because being wet or dirty in a pair of training pants is not as uncomfortable as being soiled in a pair of undies)

Love this training pants!

After trying several different brands of training pants i decided to try pampers. I have never found anything that keeps my boys so dry and comfortable throughout the day! They come with cute designs (family favorite is Thomas the train) and they are easy to get on and off for my kids. Best training pant out there for sure! I am a devoted pampers mom now!

Perfect for potty training

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pre-potty training & decided to make the switch! Best choice ever, these are amazing! He knows they feel different and give him confidence to take on/off since they are so easy to change. They are absorbent enough to last through the night so I don't have to switch back & forth between diapers.

Good for beginner potty trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a product for toddlers that are just starting to potty train. They can pull them up and down just like underwear but they provide the protection of a diaper. We used this product on my 3 year old boy who is just starting to potty train. He still isn't ready for underwear and this product encourages him to use the bathroom since he can pull them on and off easily. He liked the Thomas the Train design and never complained of discomfort. They are a bit bulkier than I hoped they would be but overall I recommend them to parents who are just starting their toddler on their potty training adventure.

We always use these for overnight accidents!

We love Pampers Easy Ups and after many nights of changing bedding in the middle of the night we have switched to using Pampers Easy Ups for both of my boys who are daytime trained but not nighttime trained. They work great and don't leak. They fit well and are easy to pull up and down. My boys love the Thomas designs.

The best out there

When it was time for potty training I went away from Pamper's to another brand because the other brand had a daytime and a nighttime pant. I thought I had to have the two different kinds. My son worn them for a few weeks and noticed a sore on my son's hip. It was from the Velcro side closures. I immediately changed to Pampers, and to my surprise I did NOT need the nighttime pants! Pampers Easy Ups worked better than the nighttime pants anyway! Pampers are for daytime, nighttime, and anytime. I saved money too by not having to buy 2 different kinds of pants. My son was potty trained at 2 years old and I know it had a lot to do with Pampers.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was doubtful at first with pull up's but once I started it was just like wearing underwear. My first child loved them even though thought it was diaper. He still finally learned how to potty trained overnight. Never went back nor no accidents, but would recommend for all. Every child is different on potty training but tell then. These fit like underwear and can easily be cut off or token off without mess

Not Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always been a Pampers family. We used swaddlers for years and still use sensitive wipes. That's why I was so disappointed when Easy Ups didn't work for us. My almost 3 year old loved the Thomas train design and they were very absorbent (no leaks) however, they were not comfortable for my toddler. He was constantly adjusting them as they seemed be riding up. He's a tall slender boy (~35 lbs) and even the largest size (4 - 5t) still caused problems. So, sadly we had to find brand.

I'll stick with the "other" brand

I found these did not work well with my son for potty training day or night at all. The night time absorbency was not very good for him so I only switched using it during the day. I used a different brand at night. I notice in a different review it was recommended that the user go up a size at night. However, after trying that I found going up a size didn't work either because the training pant did not cover well at the bigger size and it leaked out. Maybe if the training pants had the easy open sides, the fit could be better adjusted to fit the kid's body better. Also, it was not easier to change him when he had a bowel movement - without velcro sides to get off easily and also secure the contents after the change, the "stuff" could fall out easily - not good!

I'm sorry the Easy Ups didn't give your son the protection you needed at night. We do recommend moving up a size like you've already tried. We'd like to help and learn more about this if you can give us a call at (800) 726-7377. Thanks!

Easy UPS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great for Toddlers. I used these for my 2 year old son that hates wearing diapers. I like that I can rip the sides but it is a pain when it's time to change him and he has to remove his pants completely. I love pampers and do not like Huggies brand as they give my son a rash. However, huggies do have the restickable sides.
