[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG range a year ago, it worked great for a time then two of the burners went out. To my surprise, this all happened just as the warranty had ran out. I am debating whether to repair it or switch brands.

The oven part we have been very happy with- I love the air fry and the convection bake features and they work wonderfully. However, the cooktop was scratched within one week and won’t come off, and I find the heating elements very difficult to control- it takes forever to come to a boil/heat up and then when it does it will not cool down. It’s either 0 or 10 I find to cook things in the middle range and it is frustrating. Can’t not burn my pancakes on it. Also the control dials are super easy to accidentally bump on which my children do accidentally several times and it worries me. Overall not super impressed, for the price.

I bought this range a week 2 days ago, and had it installed three days ago. It has many disappointing features, firstly I have turned it on by mistake without even realizing it, just by touching it lightly with my body or even with my jacket. It is dangerously easy to turn on. Secondly, the stove top is already scratched. I happened to slide a dish ever so slightly over to the other burner and it has a awful mark now. Then my chicken broth boiled over a bit and again it is stained and won't clean even with a light scorer as they say in the cleaning instructions. I am guilty of having read a similar review to this one and decided to buy this anyway because it was on sale, but now regret it badly.

If LG dares to remove this review, I'll make sure it's plastered across other major retail platforms. This oven is an absolute disappointment! Gone is the lower bake element, leaving me with a mere fan and the broiler/top element to do the job. My decades-old oven outperforms this fancy piece of junk any day! Macarons are overbrowning, pizzas are unevenly cooked—crust done too soon while the center remains raw. Cheese? Forget about it—it's a one-way ticket to burnt town! I conducted a meticulous temperature test, placing a professional thermometer dead center, set to 350°. For two excruciating hours, it clung to that temperature like it had something to prove. Well, what it proved was that this oven's reliance on the top broiler element is torching my culinary dreams! How on earth did LG think axing the bottom element was a stroke of genius? This "appliance" is nothing short of a disaster!

I bought this range a month ago and very happy with the purchase. Bakes faster than the old range that we had. Air fryer is awesome, one tip when using the air fryer is to put another cookie sheet on the rack below with parchment paper so the oil is not dripping on the hot surface. Bread baking is faster. I am more careful when using the stove top as others mentioned that is very sensitive to scratch.

We took delivery of an LG LSEL6337F range at the end of summer 2024. In less than 3 months, we had to call for a warranty repair. Multiple control knobs were turning on the same burner, one was turning on 2 burners. It took 4 visits and 3 "techs" before the defect was fixed, likely because manufacturers contract out warranty repairs to the lowest bidder and the winner hires minimally qualified people to keep costs down. In addition, I had to recalibrate the oven to the maximum allowable adjustment, 35 deg, to get the oven to bake properly. The range seems to be functioning OK now, so we are satisfied with that, but we've essentially paid full price for a refurbished unit. Another issue is LG's blue enamel coating which has flaked off in a couple of spots. This seems to be a common complaint so I was half expecting it, just not so soon after purchase. Our biggest beef is the level of work it takes to keep the cooktop clean. Everything that lands on it, including water, requires scrubbing with Bar Keeper's Friend to remove (the sample bottle of Cerama Bryte that came with the range does not work very well). I don't know if all smooth tops are made like this but the LG has a slight crosshatch texture to it which makes it almost impossible to clean with a simple wipe. Gone are the days when all you needed was a wet dish cloth to wipe your appliances down. We are very careful, almost to the level of paranoia, with this appliance. We've read through the manual several times and heed the warnings regarding the level of care required when using the cooktop. Spills are cleaned up promptly, we do not drag cookware across the surface, we do not place cold pots on hot elements or hot cookware on cold surfaces. Even with that, it has developed scratches and marks that will not come off. I have followed all of the cleaning suggestions in the manual and from the LG website to try and keep our expensive new appliance like new but it's a losing battle.

One very major flaw!. Be extremely careful not to even slightly accidentally bump the knobs because they will turn on with the slightest press. I’ve scorched two towels because of this. So now we must remember to lock the burners after every use. I’ve never seen anything like this and would return it if I could. We purchased in mid-June and don’t use it a lot primarily because I just about hate it. I think it’s worthy of a review by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Would never ever buy this again. It has a lot of good features but the safety issue with the burners negates all of that. One more thing: we clean the top every time we use it. We spend a lot of time trying to get the streaks off from the top. It becomes a streaky mess even when you wipe it with clean towels. It appears a “substance’ is coming off from the seal around the top. We have a new LG refrigerator and dishwasher and they are great.

I've had this oven for two weeks and am slowly finding out its flaws. First it doesn't fit well unless it is placed against a wall, not a peninsula because the back is not straight, so there is a gap. Second, the air fryer was slower than my portable unit and didn't crisp the chicken and I had to keep checking to see if it was even working. Third and my biggest issue is that the control panel does not light up. I was informed by customer service "you have to put it in a well lit area" It is in the kitchen below a light and across from a window, but it is still difficult to see the key pad to set the temp, time, or start button. But design flaw. Be prepared to bend over and get close to use it. Not a good but for anyone with vision problems.

Nothing about this electric oven/range is acceptable for use. The oven will not warm up to the set temperature, even though the buzzer has indicated that it has reached the set temperature. It is at least 30 degrees off. I have had a repair man come to fix this problem. He set the temperature to increase by 35 degrees, which makes baking, cooking tricky. I have placed a thermometer in the oven to figure out the proper temperature. Also, if you should open the oven door to check on your food, the temperature goes down 100 degrees, and the heating element needs to surge on which distorts proper cooking time and doneness of your food. The range knobs turn on way too easily if you should brush up against the front of the stove. This stove is beyond falling into a "lemon" category. It's an unsafe, fire hazard, improper cooking/baking appliance, and needs to be recalled and replace with a safe, operable appliance. Shame on LG for including this oven/range in their product selections. I would not purchase another LG oven again.

Have had now for 3 weeks every time you brush anywhere near the knobs burns turn on to high I have a over the range microwave and every time I reach to open the microwave the burners turn on to high temps had to clean cooktop because the heat was so high it melt my dish towel. The sound for high can barely be heard tried to change volume to high and it is so low that with tv or others in kitchen talking you can not hear it. Have now for the 5th time have smelt a burning odor to walk into my kitchen to find burner burning on high and on top of that the knobs are hard for my elderly mother to read she will not go near it now sad she loved to cook. do not recommend if you have small children that can reach the knobs as it takes no press to turn on range. If you have vison issues do not recommend tried to find replacements knobs in other colors with writing in white or bold lettering so that my mother can use the new range. It makes me very sad that she keeps asking if would could get a different range or get the old one back.
