These duds could use a lot more cushion in the soul, however they really are comfortable everywhere else, and very rugged it seems. I recommend them, but I would pick up a package of inserts on your way. If they ever get it together at Skechers, they'll start making clouds to walk on for those of us that are looking for that, not everyone is looking for running shoes these days.

This comfortable, well-built footware has an unusual name: "House Shoe," and it's an apt description. They are comfortable and fit well. (I'm a male 10-D) and the medium House Shoe feels good on my feet. It is ideal in cold weather as a slipper as the high tops cuddle ankles for warmth. If you step outside to retrieve the dog or the morning paper, you're good in wet, snowy or even moderately icy surfaces. The tread on the House Shoe is deep and provides moderately good traction. I've run errands in mine and feel most comfortable in them. I bought a pair for a bud as a Christmas gift and his first remark was, "These are expensive...you shouldn't have done it!" And that's the other point... to me, the House Shoes at Sam's are quite reasonably priced since they are indoor-outdoor footware.

My husband loves his new Sketcher Slippers. He was so excited to see that they had Wide width availability. They are super comfortable and could be worn as outdoor shoes as well.

Skechers are really comfortable and good for the feet with their arch support. Many varieties too. These were Christmas presents and my brother and husband loved them.

True to size. Great for wide feet. Comfortable house shoe and don't look like a slipper when you forget to change your footwear on the way out the door to run an errand.
