The texture was very creamy and easy to apply to cake. The consistency was smooth going on no clumping. Typical ingredients are in the frosting. The only thing that makes it a bummer is if you use this frosting on anything, it will have to be refrigerated. So if you don't like cold cake, maybe not the frosting for you.

I purchased this and immediately came home to start a pan of brownies to put it on. I did test it on some sliced apples too while the brownies were baking and have some awesome opinions. First, the packaging is great. The resealable container is perfect if you’re not using it all at once! It’s cold, smooth, and creamy. Most cream cheese frostings have that sugary, grainy texture and this is so smooth and creamy. It makes the perfect fruit dip and was so delicious on my apples and not overpowering at all. Now for the brownies. I decided to frost brownies individually. The warm brownies combined with the cool, slightly tangy frosting was delicious! The container is also huge so I’m excited to keep trying this on new things. This is definitely a new staple that will always be in my fridge!$

The packaging looks exactly like the same Philadelphia Cream Cheese that you love so it might be a bit confusing to find it in your refrigerated cream cheese section but this is great food. I topped my strawberry cupcakes with this spread and it just complemented the cupcakes so well. I highly recommend this product!

I made a yellow cake and used this frosting. It is so smooth, not overly sweet and spreads pretty well. The top layer of my cake was flaky but that’s because of the way I made it.
