I've had my GhostBed Luxe for a little over a month and I can't remember a time I've slept better than I have been since I've got this mattress. I'm giving it four stars because I feel like the cooling properties don't fully live up to the hype. The bare mattress is definitely cool to the touch but I would say only slightly cooler than my old innerspring mattress. In use I don't actually notice myself feeling any cooler when laying down. Overall I love this mattress and the level of coolness is by no means a deal breaker for me. If you're leaning towards the Luxe for the cooling purposes you may be better off just going with the standard GhostBed.

I just gotta start by saying i couldn't be happier with my purchase of this mattress, Before i bought this mattress i used to think that i got what i thought was decent sleep but i was wrong. i have always had back problems and trouble sleeping and honestly had no idea it was due to the mattress i had and i would always wake up in the middle of the night but could never figure out why. So one day i thought ill get a new mattress and reviewed them online for weeks and came to my final choice which is this compared to many other brands and i have heard good things about ghost bed in the past so i figured i would give it a try. First night receiving this i was mind blown by just the way it looked and was really cool unboxing i knew it was the right purchase just from there. after laying on it for the first time i couldn't believe how comfortable it was and how it stays nice and cool which helps out alot. the first night sleeping on it i instantly fell asleep and didn't wake up in the middle of the night and woke up the next morning for work and did not want to get out of bed because i was the most comfortable i have ever been and right there i knew this is the best purchase i made in years. and since then i have gotten so much better sleep and my back is slowly getting back to normally and im so thankful for that! so pretty much i couldn't be happier with the purchase of this mattress and the customer service for this company is amazing they helped me out within seconds with all of my questions so to the ghost bed team i thank you! i hope someone else can read this review and make the right decision to purchase this mattress because it was a great purchase!

A few years ago my wife and I got the standard base queen ghost bed and loved it. As our family grew we decided it was time to upgrade to the King Luxe and it is amazing. It stays cool throughout the night, we both have plenty of room even with a child or two in the middle and honestly it has become the place where we all will relax at the end of the day and spend time together. We couldn’t be more happy with it. Thank you GhostBed for making a great affordable product the will last for years.

The mattress is awesome, which is to be expected ,but what surprised me were the pillows. I had no idea how crappy my old pillows actually were. Having issues with the bed frame, it isn't playing super nice ,but customer service is trying to help me with it so we'll see. Other than that, absolutely worth it.

I was sceptical about this mattress being cool, but I got exactly what I was hoping for. This mattress is much cooler than my previous mattress. It also is very comfortable without being too soft. I like a firm mattress, because I hate sinking into a mattress, and I am very pleased with how this mattress has a soft top with a supportive core. It makes for a very nice night's sleep.

Shipping was fast! I wanted a mattress to keep me cool and after reading the reviews I was a little disappointed. I don't wake up as hot but it's not as the claims make it to be. The edge of the mattress is lacking in support (you can't sit on the edge of the bed or else you will slide right off). I do sleep soundly on this mattress but I find myself sliding over to the middle for some reason. I'm going to give it a few more weeks before making a decision and see if comfort will over rule coolness. Ghostbed did throw in some free pillows which makes a great sleep combination. Also, it is reasonably priced for mattresses of similar characteristics.

This is neither a pro nor a con since people require varying levels of comfort, but this mattress is too firm for me. My lower and mid back pain is as bad as ever. On a scale of 1- 10, I'd rate it a 9 when lying down. It behaves differently while lying down vs sitting. Pro: It is easy to find a cool spot when you get too hot. Con: I didn't expect to get too hot since so much focus is placed on the cooling technology. Pro: The set-up was easy. Pro: There was no smell upon opening. Con: The mattress edges are super soft, offering zero edge support. On day one, I sat on the side of the bed the way I've done a million times in my life and slipped right off. I wasn't prepared for there to be no support so, BE CAREFUL sitting on this mattress. Con: The mattress is slippery. I tried 3 different sets of sheets and they all slip around and cause irritating bunching of the material on the sleep surface. I find myself trying to fix it in my half-aware sleep state. When I get up for restroom breaks, I walk around the entire bed pulling the fitted sheet back down to create a smooth surface. Unfortunately, and in short order, it goes right back to bunching.

Best mattress I have ever sleeped on. HUGE difference in my pain level when I wake up in the morning. I definitely get a better night's sleep and wake up less often. I love how it doesn't hold onto heat as well compared to other mattresses. So mad I waited this long to order it!

We are in our second week with our new bed. Oddly, I haven’t experienced the normal need to acclimate to a new mattress. Love the frame. Love, love, love the mattress (Luxe). One disadvantage is after Placing on mattress protector and sheets, the cooling properties of the mattress seem to be lost. Our shredded foam pillows are great and a plus is they are adjustable firmness. Was a bit confusing because our pillows and protectors were shipped separately and nothing arrived together. Small inconveniences for a great product. We are recommending this bed! Still working to resize my quilt and replace our headboard.

It is a comfortable mattress, but my body hasn’t fully adjusted to the new way of sleeping. I do wonder how well this type of mattress works when more than one person is in the bed, as when you are close the combined body heat makes you sink a bit more in the bed.
