Feels like sleeping on a plank. The firmness is not medium at all, I would say this is a firm to extra firm. I am a side sleeper and I've had it for a month now and I wake up everyday as if I got run over by a truck, I constantly have to switch sides at night due to discomfort from it being to hard and has been disrupting my sleep. The top cover is nice though. Will be returning.
