I bought this to match the necklace, also sold here. I was concerned about how thin the gold is but the look of it does lend itself to stacking with other bracelets. However, out of concern the gold chain could snap if it snags I added a magnetic clasp in the hope that it will give away rather than break. I am not hard on jewelry as a rule but for those who "live" in their jewelry and do not intend to take it off, I would take a pass. That said, with gold prices what they are, this is the reality of a lot of jewelry these days.
I like the checkerboard cut, although I do wish the polish was a bit better (some of the gems look a tad bit dull). I like that the back side of the gems do not have a sharp point (culet) like most station bracelets and necklaces do. That makes it comfortable to wear.
I do wish that this bracelet had a garnet in it because that's my husband's birthstone. It's in the necklace but it's missing from the bracelet.
For me this is a keeper, as it can be dressed up or down.
