Would never think this was not a brand name chocolate. My son melted some slowly in the microwave and it melted smooth and creamy. He dipped strawberries in the chocolate and found a new favorite snack. The milk chocolate is quite delicious.

I was so happy to see members mark come out with this melting chocolate. Love that the chocolate comes in a big bag and that I can get it at Sam’s club. It melted great in the microwave, smooth and creamy. Cake pops tasted great!

I had high hopes based on the reviews, but this chocolate does NOT tasted good. It definitely tastes like "knock off" artificially-flavored chocolate. I bought two bags, used one, but will be returning the other. The price is great, obviously, and they melt and set up well, but the taste will just ruin whatever you are using it for. Today I bought a bag of Ghirardelli melting wafers, and there's just no comparison. Of course they are significantly more expensive, but for the vastly better taste, it's worth it.

This would have been great to use with baking, making cookies or cakes or candy. I have used the dark chocolate one before, but this one arrived completely melted. I would not recommend ordering online as the wafers were so melted you couldn't do anything with them and once they firmed up it was one piece of solid chocolate.

This recipe has changed and they are horrible. They smell like a bad chocolate fudge frosting and taste like it too. Compared the ones bought last year (2024) and they're wau different. The overall size of the wafers is smaller as well. They dry down with a white haze not shiny. Truly disappointing! in the pic the new is on the left old on the right for size comparison.

I bought the Members Mark last year when Sam's Club stopped carrying the Ghirardelli wafers. Those were the MM dark wafers and were much the same as the name brand. This year they only had the milk chocolate wafers and they are terrible. They taste like the cheap off-brand chocolate that you get at a dollar store. They apparently aren't chocolate, they are "chocolate flavored" and even that is a stretch. When the chocolate sets, it looks dull and unappetizing. It may be a bit more expensive, but get your melting wafers from a reputable craft or candy making supplies store. It will save you in the long run.

Member's Mark Milk Chicolate Flavored Melts is he worst "chocolate" I have ever worked with or tasted!!! The flavor is awful, it tastes like some kind of fake strawberry with chemicals added. And the melting consistency is horrible, it never did dry with a smooth shiny finish. Therefore the overall value is 0%. I can't stress enough how bad this stuff is!!!! 😫😖😝 DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!

The quality of this chocolate is TERRIBLE. I own a baking business and this is down right disrespectful compared to the Ghirardelli bags you once carried. I highly recommended to stop trying to convert all your ingredients to members mark versions because they do NOT compare to high quality brands. I had to cut this chocolate with way too much shortening for it to even dip and it left the ugliest finish. Thank god I did a test batch. Sams has definitely lost its luster since covid.

I bought these last year and they were delicious and I used them for all my holiday candies. However this year the formulation has changed and I didn't notice that it said “chocolate flavored” candy melts. They are gross, and I wasted so much money on them, as I had to replace them with real chocolate. Please, Sam's…. Bring back the actual chocolate melts. Originally you carried Ghirardelli, and then created your own knock off version which was actually decent. These aren't.

I've always use the Ghirardelli brand from Sam's for my Christmas treats. Since those are no longer available, I decided to give the Sam's brand to try this year. These are nothing like them. They melt quickly, but the flavor is not the same. Also, these had tons of air bubbles in them consistently which caused issues with dipping. These taste like cheap chocolate, and I'm not happy to serve them to my guests. Next year, I'll make sure to order Ghirardelli from somewhere else.
