ive bought these in years past and they were great. but this year they are absolutely terrible. they just bind up and wont melt all the way. super disappointed

These were awful tasting compared to the dark chocolate ghirardelli wafers sams used to sell. It also did not melt well in a double boiler. it was still chunky no matter what i did and was cloudy after freezing. very weird consistency. stay away.

My family and I did not like the taste of these. It was my mistake for not reading the package which clearly stated "chocolate flavored". I bought them to cover strawberries and ended up not using them. I actually threw the bag away because of the taste. The wafers are overwhelmed by a syrup taste that I could not get past.

This recipe has changed and they are horrible. They smell like a bad chocolate fudge frosting and taste like it too. Compared the ones bought last year (2024) and they're wau different. The overall size of the wafers is smaller as well. They dry down with a white haze not shiny. Truly disappointing! in the pic the new is on the left old on the right for size comparison.

These are disgusting with toxic ingredients. They taste like plastic. PLEASE bring back the Ghirardelli melting wafers!!

Bring back the Ghirardelli ones that you sold before. These are gross, no real cocoa and the flavor is just not good at all.

They melt pretty easy. but the taste is just off. i'll try something once. Won't buy again. I'll stick to Ghirardelli

The wafers did not melt well. Dipping candies was very difficult as the chocolate stayed quite thick. The taste is average, a little too sweet.

this has the weirdest taste. like a weird vanilla smell %26 odd taste. not a fan. please bring back the Ghirardelli. it was leaps %26 bounds better than this.

I was so disappointed in these. They melted amooth for about 1 minute, but the moment anything hit the air, it hardened immediately. These were awful to work with. Bring back the Ghirardelli melting wafers!
