These milk jugs are tougher to open than a jar of pickles. The twist cap requires having the grip strength of chuck norris. Then, they add a seal that appears to be super glued on. What the heck, Member’s Mark? Its almost as if you dont want me to drink this milk

The milk is excellent, but WHY DO THEY PUT THE CAPS ON SO TIGHT??? I have to get a pair of pliers to unscrew it. Way too tight. Otherwise I would give it a five.

The packaging on Sam's club milk is horrible, I have to use a jar opener and knife to pry the lid off. The milk is also not any cheaper than milk found in our local grocery stores.

This milk is high quality, great packaging, and a good value. I buy the 2% and sometimes the whole milk. We average 4 gallons a week. It is so much fresher than the area supermarkets. I live in Pennsylvania and it beats the WAWA brand! The sell by date always exceeds area markets by several days. Also, if you live near NJ and buy it in NJ on your way home to PA you will save $1.00/gallon.

This milk is awesome. I live alone, and don't drink much milk, so I have never bought it by the gallon before because I end up throwing most of it out after it goes sour. However, the last 2 gallons I've bought from Sam's have lasted well after the due date, and I've been able to use most of it before it goes sour. I keep it at the back of my refrigerator which may help. The current carton I'm using has an expiration date of March 22, and it's now March 29, and it's still good to drink with no sour smell.

Purchased this milk and after using about 1/4 of the carton, the milk went bad, still 1 week before carton date. Purchased again a few weeks later, carton had date of 5/14/2016. Opened milk on 5/5/2016 and it had already gone bad, unopened. Complained to local sam's club, they gladly replaced the milk, but had to stand in line for 25 minutes at customer service for the $1.89 credit (after calling ahead) Received a new gallon on 5/7/2016 at store, opened and used about half of this milk in first few days. Carton is dated 5/24/2016. Today, 5/15/2016, sniffed milk and it had again gone bad. 3 different gallons from 3 different batches of daily chef, all sour a week or more prior to carton date. Tremendous value if you can use the gallon within a day or two of purchase, otherwise it's throwing money away. I'd rather pay a dollar more and use the whole gallon.
