Inedibly salty

Please, please come out with a low sodium version. I grew up on Jimmy Dean sausages. I used to use it in my lasagna for more zip than ground beef. I would love to be able to have these for breakfast but the sodium is so strong it burns my mouth. The turkey patties. I heated some this morning and could not even manage to eat one patty.

I love these

I dont understand what happened to the sausage that people said was awful. I buy these every week and absolutely love them, but then i just started a few weeks ago and can’t compare old to current ingredients. However, i never see any that are gray or falling apart. Delicious at meal and for a snack. I need more protein and this helps. Now, if i can just get Jimmy Dean Co. to quit playing the commercials with the stupid harmonica, i might consider other products.

Oooh Tge Sodium!

I had these for the first time at home and found them very tasty but full of sodium. You can actually taste the sodium. It also gave me the runs, but I’d admit it was delicious with scrambled eggs. For men be especially careful, as it is not good for your Prostate!

In the trash

This sausage is awful. I love other Jimmy Dean breakfast products and I had high hopes (although, not too much- they are turkey after all). I tried them microwaved vs pan fried and nothing helped. I had to spit it out. I don't know what seasonings or flavor they used but it was terrible. It tastes like how cat pee smells.

So I am a big Jimmy deans fan have been my whole life so when I had seen they dropped a new product I was excited to try it out and so was the family but when the time came first they didn't have. Any in stock at my store no biggie so I waited patiently until they finally came in well let me tell you I was not a fan.

Best turkey sausage patties/links on the market

I love having the turkey sausage for breakfast almost every morning. I buy both the links and patties but I wish they could come presealed in groups of two patties or two links. I normally eat 2 links or 1 patty with my breakfast. This way when I open the plastic, I don't have to use a baggie or container to place the left over patties/or links.

Change is not always good

I've been buying (and enjoying) JD Turkey Sausage Links for years. However, the new and not improved links are awful. Everything that was good is now bad with this product. I will not buy again until it says "Back to the past taste" or something to indicate that you have realized your error.

Terrible

These were inedible. I have tried many brands of turkey sausage and turkey bacon, most of them are decent to pretty darn good. I couldn't even eat these, the only flavor they had was reminiscent of the smell of dry kibble dog food and the texture was even worse, spongy, dry and lumpy. I can't believe these made it through to market, so disappointed in Jimmy Dean.

I keep these in ...

I keep these in my fridge at all times. These are great for my kids breakfast with some fruit and a carb. My kids will put their breakfasts together the night before and these are easy to warm up in the morning. I sometimes keep a package at work and when I don’t have time to eat before work I can warm a few up. I love them with ketchup.

Nice to find sausage without the additives

I was happy to find these turkey sausages with NO: nitrates, nitrites, artificial colors or flavors, MSG, or preservatives. However, be aware if you are on a sugar free diet, these contain both dextrose and sugar. I wear a CGM and was glad to see after eating two in a veggie egg scramble, they didn't raise my blood sugar above 112. Other brands of sugar-sweetened sausages have raised my glucose level in the 150's. Though I wish there was no added sugar, they don't seem to be too high.
