There was no weird scent and it does the job to clean feet off before entering the house. My biggest and only complaint is it seems that my dogs’ claws are picking it in places.

I recommend airing it out for a couple days before placing at your front door. The design is absolutely adorable though. Perfect for spring and summer. Unfortunately summer is almost over. The mat, itself is about 10lbs so it's pretty heavy and won't slide around easily. You can place this indoors or outdoors. I live in an apartment, so I have it indoors.

I put it down and it lays flat and doesn’t move unless u pick it up and move it. It’s a perfect house decor, gift, anything !

It truly gives my front door a whole new look that stands out from a far the vibrancy of the colors the size everything is just perfect! It doesn’t have a heavy scent upon opening which is great it works for indoor and out use making it super versatile for whichever works best for you and it has held up nicely in the weather! Honestly this matt is a really high quality at a wonderful value for your money I highly recommend this!

Looks cute, and the size is large to cover the whole space in front of the door! Came neatly rolled and unrolled easily. Is smelled slightly of chemicals, but once outside it “aired” out.
