The Ooma device and service is good. What is not good is buying this device locks you into using the monthly Premier Plan forever. Cost is over $17 a month after taxes. You can never upgrade to the annual Premier Plan or downgrade to the free plan.

I wish I had read the fine print. Standard monthly fee of $9.99, plus taxes. I pay $19.99 a month. Cannot downgrade or upgrade the service with this device or plan. Will be exploring other options.
