The labeling makes it seem like it should only require a minute before rinse but haven't seen how that works out yet. Between the shampoo and conditioner of this new product line, I do prefer the shampoo more.

It isn't as thick as most shampoos, but it lathers really well in spite of that. The scent is a super light, semi floral, but mostly coconut scent, and it's really nice. The one thing to watch out for is that because it is an oil blended shampoo, I would wash my hair with a different shampoo for the first cleanse and then go in with this one.
