I would say its tastes like strong corn, rice, choking floral, sugar, lemon and smelly grass; Close to light sweet taste of light malt, with shades of corn, light floral, light sugar, very light lemon, faint bitter hops and light grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is very light maltyness in watery background.

Disappointingly Average

Corona Extra Mexican Lager comes with great expectations, yet I found it underwhelming. The advertised fruity-honey aroma was almost missing, barley discernible. Moreover, it's malt touch seems to overpower the drink, disbalancing its taste. I also felt the buzz was surprisingly mild for a premium beer brand. Definitely not my go-to choice for game nights or beach outings. Expected much more, major letdown.

I haven't had a Corona in a very long time. It usually isn't my beer of choice, but I still enjoy it when it is available. It isn't the cheapest or the most expensive. I think it has a stronger and more noticeable flavor than other beers, but it is still enjoyable!

I'm not a drinker, but if I'm going to have a beer it's going to be a crisp Corona with a lime wedge. I can't really deal with other beers. They have too much hops in them for me. Medium price range. Corona Extra Coronita Mexican Lager Import Beer 46 Abv "Corona Extra is lighter than traditional beers, with a crisp and refreshing taste. This light, dry beer has pleasant malt and hop notes with a round dry finish. Regardless of the time of the year, Corona is best served ice cold, with a wedge of lime that complements and intensifies the flavour through the palate." Corona

As a former bartender, this was the most popular bottled beer. I think that everyone who likes this beer will always ask for a lime. But, where I worked we automatically put one in it. When ordered. The taste is smooth and good & goes good with appetizers. I definitely recommend this, the price is very Comprable to any other beer on Market in my opinion.

With a squeeze of

With a squeeze of lime this beer is hard to beat! It stays nice and cold in the glass bottle, and stays carbonated clear until you finish it. Once you get past the initial odor (not too much of a beer smell, more bitter than anything), it's really refreshing, and pairs wonderfully with a plate of tacos!

QR Code

Honestly your user interface is terrible. I scan the QR code on the bottle and it went to a broken link. And then I looked on the bottle and it said to come to this website for any questions. And there's no area for me to ask a question. So what's up

Overall, not one of

Overall, not one of my go-to beers. It's not overly complex and can be too skunky for me with some sense of hoppy-bitterness. Add a lime however and this beer is escalated to a whole new level. It needs the acidity to sort of pick up the brightness and harder to taste sweet notes.

There are a few main things contributing to this 'hype'. Firstly is the addition of the lime. It adds the citric acidity that pairs well with the light beer and gives it a unique zingthat you don't find in other easily available beers. Secondly, its a light beer that is easy and pleasurable to drink. It may not have rich notes that some love, or special characteristics, but what it gains is wide appeal and a product that you can't really hate, even if you don't absolutely love it. It is a very refreshing beer to drink when compared to a heavier lager or IPA. Finally, is the marketing / ambiance it embodies. This is very likely a smaller contributing factor, but often one recalls having a nice corona on the beach as they relaxed, or correlate the beer to that image in their head, so it has that mental factor as well. It comes down to the fact that reviews and 'class' aside, you should be drinking the beers you enjoy, and for many non-connoisseurs Corona fits that bill very well.

I enjoy Corona. Sometimes you just need a beer, and because I'm gluten free, it's one of the only ones that I can drink. I skip the silly lime in the neck & just squeeze all the lime juice directly into the bottle. It goes down easy & pairs excellently with Indian takeout.
