The reason for the removal of the one star is because it really didn’t do much for my curls that any other shampoo/conditioner would. Otherwise, I will definitely purchase this.

My mop of hair appreciates that not only does it strengthen damaged hair but also prevents breakage. Unlike some other shampoos, it doesn't weigh down your hair either. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased to see this product was sulfate free, I have always tried to get products like that for my curly hair. In the (huge) bottle the shampoo smells like the 90s, that's the only way I can describe it! Perhaps it's the jojobas? Outside of the bottle and in use it smelled slightly different and indescribable but not in a bad way. The shampoo is ever so slightly runnier than I'd like but felt good while using and made a decent lather, rinsed out quickly. The scent dissipated fairly quick which saddened me as I prefer to smell my hair products for a while after use. But wow, my hair ended up so curly after it dried - my hair is happy!

The packing it comes in is really nice because it is in a pump bottle which I really love. I’m going to keep using it and see if it gets any better after a few shampooings.

The only think is that you have to put a good amount in hair because it doesn’t foam easily. Other than that, love it!

My hair had changed a lot in the past few years and become a lot more textured and curly compared to the soft waves I had most of my life. It has been difficult to find products that work for my hair - but this line definitely does! My curls were so defined just from using this conditioner and shampoo. LOVE that these are in pump form vs Dove’s usual squeeze bottles because that really does make a huge difference. The scent is pretty strong and lasts on the hair, so you may not like this is you are sensitive to scents. I enjoy it and hope they come out with a leave in / other finishing products for this curl define line!

He usually uses just a curl cream but sometimes his hair will get frizzy, he used this combo and no frizz!! just cute little curls all day :-) since he has curly hair he doesn’t shampoo and condition often so i’m sure this will last him awhile!
